personally, some of the colours are much better than others in this range as the shatter is more visible and the colour is more vibrant ie- the blue, red and black were the strongest. what I probably dislike about the shatters is that if you go over the shattered part again if you missed a spot, it doesn't give the same effect and goes all weird.

Tips: if you find the shatter bad, then just apply 2 or 3 coats of the shatter polish over a base coat, the polish won't really shatter and you get a full colour.
had only bought like 5 bottles of this for about half a year and all had hardened up. Good quality though aside from that, shatters quickly and nicely.
Was excited to try it as it looks great in pictures. But I found it look messy and a little like I had leprosy instead of the classy elegant finish I expected. I'm a huge OPI fan but won't use the shatters again
This is the only OPI that I am not a fan of, I did really enjoy this when it came out as it is very fun to use but got over it pretty quickly. My bottle also dried out extremely fast so was pretty disappointed.
Tips: Don't pay full price, not worth it.
It claims it is a nail polish that give a shattered effect and it does exactly that.
I have have the white, black and gold. The gold is my favourite and it looks great over a coral peach colour for something a bit different. I really didn't end up liking the black or the white.
In terms of lasting - only a few days, just like any other OPI nail polish. OPI doesn't last any longer than any other nail polish I own in my opinion.
The formula is quite thick so you have to be quick at applying or it goes gluggy.
One coat is all you need of the shatter polish. It gives the best effect with one coat - two coats make it separate/shatter really thick lines which doesn't look any good.
I wont be repurchasing any more shatter polishes - I think they have had their day in the sun.
Tips: One coat only! Make sure the underneath polish is completely dry first.
The Warehouse have these super cheap (like $5) so don't bother paying full price - it is not worth full price!
At my local Warehouse they had these for two dollars as parallel imports so I bought the gold and the silver. I wasn't sure how to feel about the quality because even though I really like OPI as a brand, the cheap price seemed a little too good to be true. And it was. The shatter started cracking and chipping after about a day and I could actually just scratch my nails and the polish would fall off. Definitely not up to OPI's usual standard but at least I didn't waste too much money.
OPI was one of the first nail polish brands to bring us a quality version of the shatter look. Cheaper ranges have disappointed me trying to do what OPI does best. I really liked what the OPI version did but the shatter look was a passing fad and it has sat unused in my collection for years.
Tips: Plaster it on thick! A thin coat won't give you the desired effect.
I was expecting good things from this as it is from o.p.i but was very disappointed with it. It didn't go on that smoothly and didn't look good at all. I have tried other brands which are cheaper and worked much better.
I had a couple of these nail polishes, I do like the effect that you can get from these without having to be super amazing at nail art.
They are easy enough to use, simply apply whatever colour of normal nail polish that you like (I did try on bare nails once and it didn't work out!), and then once that is dry apply a thin coat of the shatter polish. You do have to work quickly as it starts to 'shatter' almost straight away and once it has started you can't really add more on or it won't work. Also if you go to thick, it won't really work either- it will just look messy.
Overall, I think these polishes are alright, I don't actually think these ones live up to the opi standards though which is a shame. I find the avon brand shatters are actually a lot easier to use so I wouldn't buy another one of these again.
I bought a few of the shatter polishes back when the trend was new and never really got into it. I found they never shattered evenly on each nail and didn't look as good as the pictures on advertisements. Bit of a let down and very hit and miss.
