Alpine Silk Nourishing Collagen Crème with Organic Lanolin

This innocuous little cream is the best thing I've found in years. The packaging may be more likely to be found in a souvenir shop but the contents are not, so don't be fooled.

A light but deeply moisturising cream, I found it absorbed quickly and left my skin plump and glowing. Made in NZ, organic and paraben free I think this is my find of the year. I used it on my face but it would be equally great as a body moisturiser.

I've spent 100's of dollars on high end anti wrinkle products and I reckon this works as well as not better for a fraction of the price.

This is an absolutely lovely moisturiser, that can be used anywhere on the body. It's not greasy, smells lovely, and is long lasting.

I used this on my hands/arms and on my face - no breakouts (and I have skin that doesn't like change!) and no extra greasiness.

You don't need a lot of this product - it goes a long way.

im thankful i was picked for the recent trail team for this product. i do love trying new things, with having sensitive skin its great to find products that work that i wouldn't normally look at. the packaging is nice, round flat jar and a very good size at 100grams. the creme itself is on the thicker side, but still easy to spread. after using it for a few days/week my skin does feel nicer, it does feel like its smoother and softer.. but i personally wouldn't us it again though, i really couldn't get past the smell. i think if you liked the smell this would be an amazing product to try out! and at only around $15 great bargain price too!

The packaging is pure New Zealand with the mountain ranges and sheep. Not something I would pick up from a shelf but still appealing.

The product has a strong perfume smell which I did not like and could smell on my skin for a while after applying. The cream itself is nice too apply but it was quite greasy on my skin.

Within one day of using the product my cheeks and chin were red which didn't disappear. I used it for 5 days but ended up going back to my normal moisturizer and within two days my cheek and chin were back to normal.

As I opened this Lanolin enriched cream, its fragrance immediately reminds of similar cream that my grandma used to apply to her face and body. It is such a good fragrance and one that helps enhance softness of the skin, however it is dense and too creamy for my combination skin. I could use it only for 3 days on my face in my nighttime skin routine before I slept and it caused breakouts on my cheeks and forehead. Thats because it is too dense for me and not for my skin.

I continued its super use on my hands and arms. Feels so soft and smooth. It is definitely for super dry to dry skin.

I had to discontinue its use on my face but using on hands, feet and arms is superb.

I would recommend to my mum, as she has dry skin. But this one is not for my face.

Alpine Silk Nourishing Collagen cream with Organic Lanolin had some bold claims. Boost softness, firm skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Granted I only trialled this product for about 2 weeks, but to be honest I didn't really notice a stark difference with how my skin looked.

First thing off the bat, the fragrance apparently wasn't typically what lanolin smelt like (according to my partner who has used lanolin cream in the past). It definitely had some some sort of fragrance to it - I would probably described it almost as an old fashioned scent - can't quite put my finger on it. It has quite a thick consistency as well so I would definitely recommend to use it sparingly on the face.

I definitely did find that after using it my skin was a lot softer but I didn't find it to diminish my fine lines or make my skin look firmer than usual.

The other thing that I did notice that wearing it in the daytime it did effect the longevity of my foundation, so I ended up just using it as part of my night time routine instead.

I think maybe it might be better suited to be a cream to be used on the body as opposed to the face, which I think is what I will repurpose it as, but for the face, it just wasn't for me unfortunately.

When I first used this product I wasn't sure about it at all. I didn't like the smell or the oily feel. Then I woke up in the morning and wow my skin was smooth.

I definitely prefered to use it at night as it felt little oily and didn't think my makeup would sit well on it during the day.

I'm still unsure about the smell. It's not horrible, I just can't put my finger on what it is but there is something I'm not sold on. I don't want this to sound worse than I mean. It's definitely an OK smell and not overpowering but yea not sure what it is I don't like. This is a minor and personal preference.

I love that the container has a screw off lid. It means I will be able to get all product out. I am not sure about the sheep image on the container. It doesnt scream luxery, it makes it look like it's aimed at tourists.

I will keep using for sure, but I am not sure it is better than my current products so probably wouldn't purchase myself.

The packaging is a little "touristy" but the product comes in a nice sized tub. I found the smell a little strong at first but it has grown on me. My son whilst looking through my skincare came across this and is in love with it! We both have noticed how much softer our skin is. It's a thick texture but doesnt feel thick or heavy on the skin. I can have a sensitive face at times and it has been perfectly fine on mine. Would recommend to others!

Lovely feeling lotion. Didn't use it on my face, but loved it on my neck and upper chest. It has a nice scent, not too overpowering. I also used it on my hands. Only used for a couple of weeks, and have plenty left as you don't need a huge amount, spreads well and no need to wash hands after.

I really wanted to love this one. The claims are fantastic and I've long respected and rated lanolin as an ingredient. Unfortunately the perfume is overpowering not only in the tub, but also on the skin - and the smell lasts. If you like a very strong floral scent applied to your face then you won't have any problems with this. The cream itself is smooth, almost gel-like and while it does have lanolin in it, it isn't heavy at all.
