I have acne along my jawline and chin that has persisted for years. I’ve tried different AHA and BHA products, varying strengths of retinol, benzoyl peroxide, and many other products.
I saw this CeraVe treatment in Chemist Warehouse, and based on the ingredients and the good reputation of the brand I purchased it on a whim.
After one use in the evening I noticed a more even complexion in the morning - but I have this with any AHA product. I knew not to be fooled into thinking it would actually clear my acne long term.
But after a week I noticed generally clearer skin. And now after 2 months I’ve decided this is THE ONLY product that has made a significant difference in my spots. I still get little bumps which would usually turn into inflamed and painful pimples, but now they just settle down on their own. There are also far fewer bumps in general,
I haven’t noticed a significant impact on post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation from years of acne scarring, but I know it is hard to lift this type of pigmentation.
I picked this up in the Vault, thanks BR! I have dry skin and am prone to pimples especially at that time of the month. I always seem to get one big sucker that takes ages to heal. So this sounded like it suited my skin perfectly and I was keen to start using it.
It comes in a 40ml squeezy tube with a thin nozzle which is great for dispensing a little amount as you really don't need much. It is clear with a sticky consistency. I use this morning and night, but in the morning I dab it onto any spots and at night I spread a thin layer all over my face. If you use too much your face will feel sticky so just remember a little goes a long way!
This clears up any existing spots superfast! My skin looks very clear and healthy. I use this together with the matching cleanser and I think they make a great duo. Although it is only 40ml I am still using the same tube and have run out of the cleanser first. Highly recommend it for anyone suffering with blemishes.
