Lush Rock Star Soap Review

This was one of the first lush soaps that I tried out a few years ago. I had a sniff of it instore and was instantly in love. I'm currently using a 100gm block as my handsoap. I bought this in a 2 pack with a godmother soap as well.

This soap appeals to me so strongly for a couple of reasons. It's a bright pink which is my fave colour and it smells super sweet, like candy. I love the sweeter scents and this is one of the sweetest out there. The scent lingers for so long on my hands which I love and even makes my bathroom smell so good just by sitting in it. I find this lathers up really well too.

Obviously this is a soap that you would only like if you like sweet things. If you've ever used snow fairy shower gel and loved it, then you would love this. Stay away if you don't like lollie smells, this is very intense and won't appeal to you at all. This is one of quite a few lush items that I will always repurchase. I really hope that they never discontinue this one!

I have always loved the rock star scent. It is supposed to smell like vanilla but to be honest i can't smell it. I think it smells like bubblegum/ lollies. When i used rock star in the shower it lathers up really well on my skin. It made my skin smell nice for the rest of the day but i found that it kind of dried my skin out

There are not many products I will buy again and again and again and again. I discovered Lush Rockstar soap about 10 years ago and fell in love with it quickly. Over the years this is one Lush product that I have to grab every time I visit a Lush store or make an online order. The scent is my favorite out of all the Lush scents and I can't get enough of it. The soap leaves me feeling lovely and clean and the scent lingers on my skin for a few hours after I've used it. I highly recommend this soap!

Solid 2/5 for this soap.

It's not a bad soap at all but I just can't seem to find vanilla notes in the fragrance and found it to be a very "soft" soap.

I didn't store it in the shower as I use a lot of soaps and know they disintegrate if left uncovered in the shower. This one ran out in about 2 weeks and I purchased a huge bar of it.

I don't regret buying it, but would not buy again. Not a big deal as Lush have so many other beautiful things I want to try Pretty colour tho'!

This pink Lush soap isn't as good as it could be. Maybe that's me though, I just don't think it's got the wow factor that other Lush soaps have.

The colour is good, a nice pink colour.

The name is awesome - Rock Star- how cool is that? I have to admit I bought it for the name.

Stars embedded? Is there? The one time I bought this one for myself (I get it as a gift usually for teenage girls) I didn't even notice there was anything in it.

The scent...weak. It's a sweet, vanilla scent but it isn't very strong. The scent is good, likeable, but just needs that kick that makes it so you can't stop smelling it. It does not fill the shower with a steamy cloud of luscious fragrance- that's what I love about lush stuff so it's missing a key component.

Soap wise- it lathers and cleans as a soap should, it is soft like a Lush soap, so no leaving in in a wet old shower to soggy up. I find all Lush soaps gentle on my skin and non drying.

I have a couple of these bars (one star shaped and one block form) and I was excited to think that it would smell of vanilla. I can't actually detect the vanilla scent that well or at least it isn't a typical vanilla scent that I recognize; what I do smell is a very traditional bubblegum scent much like the old Bazooka Joe gums.

The star shape is cute and so easy to hold in the shower, it melts easily onto the skin and cleanses well with out drying my skin out. The scent lingers long on my skin as well and I can still smell it hours after I have used it, It isn't a strong scent though... just subtle.

Although I have a couple of this soap already I wouldn't personally buy it again... it's nice to have but I prefer some of the other scents more.

I can never really decide how I feel about Lush's rock star soap. I love the colour and it works well as a soap (ie it cleans) but there is something missing in the fragrance for me. Now I do want to caution that this is the opinion of my nose and others may feel differently. However for me, I can smell the vanilla, but for a lack of a better description, the rest of the smell seems to missing. I can smell a hole in the scent so to speak.

I do think it's a nice soap. But for me, I would be more likely to go towards one of their more robust scented soaps.

The soap itself is a light pink colour and very smooth. On the skin it does feel lovely and smooth. And I also love that with a Lush soap, I know I am using a soap that is natural and animal testing free.

I also wish that Lush would have more sales on their soaps because they are rather expensive.

The Lush rock star soap is my favorite lush soap. One thing I love about Lush is that you can get big pieces of sop for a reasonable price. I got a big cut of this soap for my birthday and it lasted me a couple of months! It smells amazing, definitely a girly scent and possibly too sweet for some people. It smells like candy and vanilla it's very sweet. But if you love that kind of scent then you will love this soap. It's amazing and it lathers up a lot, you only need a little bit which is why it lasts so long. The scent also lasts throughout the day it doesn't fade off your skin right after the shower like some other soaps.

Like many Lush products, this soap smells good enough to eat! Sweet vanilla, pink, just looking at it makes you feel happy. You walk round in a cloud of vanilla after your shower and like all Lush soaps they are gentle on skin. This is a favourite treat to buy myself.

In the gift pack, the Rock Star Soap comes in the shape of a wedge and it keeps its shape in the shower.

Lush Rock Star Soap is pink, vanilla goodness. It is not a soap that lathers immensely and smells amazing. I feel as though I am being kind to my skin when using Lush soaps. My skin feels squeaky clean and soft after use. My bathroom and skin smell like sweet, sweet candy as well.

Lush Rock Star Soap is a gorgeous pink colour. I am using this soap daily and is lasting a long time. Cliche but Lush Rock Star Soap is quite slippery once wet.

I love Lush and wish there was a store where I live. So I am thankful for Lush Gifts given to me :-)
