Blends in well, not too heavy

I have this in beige/gold and it blends well into my skin, giving it a slight sunkissed affect. It is not too thick or heavy and you don’t feel as if you are caked in make-up: it seems to just melt into the skin and doesn’t dry it out. It does seem to last the day as well. This definitely gets the thumbs up from me. Five kisses!

L'Oréal Lumi Magique Foundation

This lovely foundation comes in a glass bottle with a pump and contains 30mls. I do like a glass bottle, it feels like you are getting value for money.

This foundation gives you a very good medium coverage, so if you dont want an absolute full on coverage I would suggest you give this a try.

I have applied this with my fingers and found, at least for me, this works well. It goes on nicely and you can blend it also. I dont find the formula oily nor does it dry my skin out.

I am happy with the staying power of this foundation, it stays all day for me. I do need to touch it up if I am going out after work, but for a usual day it is very satisfactory.

Tips: Always ask for a sample instore so you can try it for yourself.

L'Oreal Lumi Magique

Affordable, easy to blend. Colour shades aren't the best range but the formula is a medium coverage and provides a glowy appearance. .

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation

I wear the Rose Porcelain shade which I think is a good match for my pale skin. This foundation is easy to pump from the bottle, which is made from glass and has gold accents.

The foundation glides on easily and provides reasonable coverage, I have sensitive skin and haven't had any issues with this product. When I need extra coverage when I have breakouts I will use a powder on top of this foundation. However if you have good skin this foundation will provide you with adequate light weight coverage.

Will definitely continue to use this foundation in the future.

Nice but even the lightest shade is too dark

I recently picked up the lightest shade from the range which was on offer at my local Farmers which turned out to be C2 - Rose Porcelain. Even though it screamed like alarm bells in my head that rose will mean it will have a pink undertone I took my chances on this over $40 foundation without testing as I hate doing that in store, besides the testers were all caked up and nasty a real turn off, but Loreal foundations have always been kind to me so felt some reassurance.

The glass bottle is chic and looks great with it's accents of rose gold, it appeals to me big time. With an acrylic clear lid and white dispenser pump which works a treat.

Formula wise aside from the colour it is a brilliant foundation and will be excellent for those who suffer from dry skin, I personally have combination skin and it played nicely on my face without sinking into the pores or transferring off my face. It creates a soft inner light glow with a light nod to the pink undertone which just looks a little dark on my skin, it isn't a great big deal but I notice it which puts me off using the rest of it. Keeping it though so I can mix it with lighter shades as it wears so well.

Almost

The L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation was a foundation that I'd hoped would be fantastic but unfortunately wasn't the perfect foundation for me.

Firstly, I found they didn't have quite the right foundation for my skin tone. I picked the shade Rose Porcelain which while at first glance was a pretty good match I did find it was a bit pinker than my skin tone. So I ended up mixing it with a more another foundation. Their foundations seemed very rose or gold toned, which I think is part of why they didn't work for me, I need a more nude foundation.

The foundation itself was excellent quality though. It was a easy to blend liquid that sat well on the skin. It also lasted well on the skin (especially with powder and setting spray) with those it could last me all day. Coverage wise it was buildable so I could get a good solid coverage. The foundation also had SPF in it which I really like to have in a foundation.

The pump bottle this foundation came in was also great quality, pumped easily, lasted well and good quality materials used.

Basically everything but the shade was perfect. There are however other L'Oreal foundations that do the right shade for me, so I would certainly still use the brand, just not this particular one.

Truly Magic!

The foundation comes in a glass bottle with a convenient pump, the metal bits of the bottle come in a pretty Rose Gold colour. It also has a plastic lid on top to prevent any leakage or getting foundation on your makeup bag or clothes. The packaging does look very elegant!

First impression, the foundation does not have a particular smell which is good. I love the consistency of this foundation. It is not too thick or too runny, though it seems to be a bit on the thinner side. It is easy to apply. It glides on my skin smoothly and was easy to blend. I apply mine and blend it with a beauty blender. It does not feel sticky, oily or heavy on my skin. The foundation has a lightweight formula that does not cake or fade.

The coverage is medium. However, the formula is buildable to full coverage with an additional layer. It covers almost all my imperfections on my face such as acne, dark spots and redness. It also does a good job at evening out my skin tone and making my skin looking healthy. It is not a matte finish foundation. It does provide a natural finish look, but more of the dewy finish side.

It is truly a long wearing foundation. With powder on top, it stays and looks beautiful on my skin for 6-8 hours without any touch ups. It does not oxidise or looks shiny on my face by the end of the day. It does remove easily with a makeup remover.

I would not say it is a full coverage foundation. However, it is definitely a good daily foundation, one of the best drugstore foundation I have ever tried. I would definitely repurchase and would recommend.

Magical

A glass bottle that has a pump & a plastic lid to lock shut to prevent any leakage & I suppose to prevent, anything getting on your pump end?! This bottle is not heavy & quite classy looking. I have the shade nude beige. N4

A full pump dispenses enough product to cover my entire face. Although I use a pump and a bit to get a full coverage. I primed my face with the lumi primer to complement the foundation. The shade is spot on for my colour tone. It blends out effortlessly combined with he primer it gives a magical luminous effect. I like full coverage this gives & the inner radiance I think the lumi primer helps provide the glowing effect. I have oily skin type & I don't think it matters much for this product. Although not a matte finish the dewy effect or glowing effect isn't too bad & when my t zone becomes prevalent it's a case of looking a tad dewy not too oily so it's manageable. I feel the liquid consistency is quite runny & not thick which takes a bit of getting use to. I felt like this is a good formula & doesn't look cakey set with some powder & then a spray to take that powdery look away. I'm ok with saying this is a good foundation thst performs as it states. Also the benefit of having a pump wow..... A good go to foundation for daily wear or especially an evening to give you the luminous look.

Illuminated!

I want what every woman after a good foundation would want.....coverage! I stopped in at my local Farmers store one day hoping to find the foundation of my dreams. I was first given three different testers, one with yellow undertones, red undertones and green undertones. I found out my undertones were yellow so N3 (pure linen) was selected and it became my bestie from there on out! I have dry sensitive skin so I was looking for a dewy finish that was gentle on my skin. Now $44.95 seems ridiculous to me for foundation but I had to give it a try to see if my skin was in agreeance with my eyes.

I love the shape of the bottle it's glass and very elegant, almost sexy. It has a plastic lid that protects the gold pump lid. I love that it pumps the liquid out because it means that I minimize waste by tipping out too much. The word that catches my attention most is LUMI. I am in love with the thought that it reflects light to give me a healthy glow without looking like an oil slick.

I apply mine with the Real Techniques foundation brush. I just find that it gives better coverage with minimal effort and minimal product. I finish it off by running my hand over my face to get rid of the brush marks. It gives me full coverage without even trying. It covers up dark circles and small blemishes that would normally stick its ugly head up despite foundation application. This to me is already the ultimate foundation and I am only just getting started. Alot of dewy foundations I have used in the past have a tendency to dry quite quickly and appear matte. This one however doesn't dry out too fast and the results show a glowing, almost highlighted look. It's not a shiny, oily look but a healthy just tanned glow. It certainly lives up to its name LUMI MAGIQUE because it's every bit of that!

The stay power is a something magique in itself. I go to work at 7.40am and don't return until 5pm some days and my face is still in tact with no smears, no wear marks and looking as glowy as I did when I stepped out the door. It even helps keep my eyeliner and eyeshadow in line by making it stay...BONUS!!! For anyone with dry skin like me you will not look back after trying this. If you are sick of matte foundations or dewy ones that don't work sticking to your dry patches and making your skin look worse; look no further! You have found your match, literally. If you can't find your perfect colour because it's too generic try L'Oreal Lumi Magique and find your correct undertone. These really are made to suit every skin tone.

Tips: Do not try if you have very oily skin.
