Tips: Do apply with a beauty blender for a flawless look
Though the formula is quite light on coverage, it spreads beautifully and gives a beautiful dewy glow to the face. Its great for a 'fresh faced' natural look. I love it!
Tips: Apply it with a damp beauty blender or a flat top kabuki brush for the most flawless results.
I like this foundation as its not to thick or runny, it blends well into my skin and looks flawless, i felt it made my skin glow, it really works well with translucent powder doesn't set cakey at all , i have sensitive skin and for me this foundation doesn't irritate or make my skin dry out , i love that it wasnt hard to find my shade as they have alot of colours, i would use this again i love!
Tips: Apply over moisturiser and set with a good translucent powder
This foundation has the most beautiful, glowing, radiant finish. I have combination skin and simply use a matte primer or mix it with a little of my favourite Revlon colorstay whipped foundation, this gives me more coverage, more lasting power but still a fresh dewy finish. A light covering of powder sets it in place. Compares to the finish if higher end products but an a more affordable price. This would be fab for dryer skin types but with a little experimenting It can also work for oilier types. I believe this is medium/buildable coverage when worn alone. Will definitely purchase again!
Tips: I apply with a stipple or flat top brush, then pat extra on with my hands (where more coverage is required).
Heard good things about Lumi Magique, purchased it with high expectations and it did fulfill them.
Amazing finish; you really feel girly and pretty when wearing Lumi as it makes you glowy and radiant. Makes me look more awake and I get lots of compliments when I wear it. It's truly a pretty and angelic finish. I find it is long lasting if I'm at work, (sitting at a desk office job) but if I am out and about shopping etc I noticed it does wear off faster. You can feel that it is on and is a bit of a sticky finish just make sure to wear a finishing powder!
I usually have oily skin but when I was pregnant my skin went really nice and was not oily at all so I thought I would give this a try and loved it! It gives the skins really really nice glowing finish. I would not call this a full coverage foundation, more medium coverage. It works really well with a translucent powder over the top. Staying power is ok if you have normal skin. My skin has since gone back to being oiler though and I find that this foundation does not look as good or last very long during the day.
Tips: Great for normal/dry skin
This is one of my new foundation favourites and here's why! Let's start off with the basics... I have dry/ normal skin and was on the hunt for a reasonably priced liquid foundation that would give me a dewy finish. I don't tend to wear a lot of foundation, it's mostly an occasional thing for me. When I do wear foundation I prefer a light-medium coverage as thankfully my skin is pretty good to me most of the time! L'oreal lumi magique foundation is a medium coverage foundation with a finish that looks dewy and glowy, rather than sparkly and oily! This is great for people like me who tend to have duller skin in the winter months! The formula isn't too thick or thin and applies great with fingers or a flat top foundation brush! what I love about the bottle is that it has a pump so it's not necessary to get foundation on your hands if you don't want to! It does tend to fade a bit during the day but not so much that it worries me! The colour works perfectly with my winter skin and acts as a perfect base for my rosy coloured blushes!
Tips: If you prefer matte finishes, this can be set with a powder over the top so you get the best of both worlds!
I had used Loreal in the past, so thought i would try this product out as a 'full cover' foundation. Unfortunatley I can not use this foundation. I am usure if the ingrediants have changed, or the formula is different, but my face started burning 5 minutes after applying. I was so upset, and after washing it off i was left with a yuck rash under my eyes, and on my forehead. So i will not use this product, or any other loreal foundation again, for this reason. Even if i colour match on my hand, i end up with a huge rash and burning. so a little dissapointed.
Tips: Do a patch test, just incase you are sensitive like me :(
I love the natural dewy finish this gives. It makes me look healthy. Only thing I dont like is that is not long wearing. It is normally faded off by midday which I is why I dont use it much. It does feel really nice on my dry skin though. I find it gives a medium coverage.
Tips: To make it longer lasting use a primer and powder and try not to touch your face much. Not for oily skin.
I really like this foundation, it has a super light consistency and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I am in love with dewy skin looks but I have slightly oily skin, this foundation is still great though and didn't turn me into an oil slick during the day. It just gave me a nice glow. I love the packaging, the pump is super helpful. The only problem I have is that there isn't a light yellow tones shade that suits me perfectly, so I just have to fake tan to wear the shade I have. Which is totally fine. I always apply mine with a flat top brush and set with a translucent powder. I like how it isn't super full coverage because I feel like I only need light to medium.
