MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Soft and Gentle Review

This is a must have with light gold reflective shimmer, if you have ever seen some with perfectly sculpted cheekbones and then they turn in the light and notice the shimmer its this and you need to get your hands on it too. Lasts forever, well worth buying.

This is my all time favorite highlighter. I am very fair and I can find it quite hard to match bronzers and highlighters with my skin tone, but this one really dose work wonders. Not only on fair and pale, but all skin types. As the name says it dose look soft and gentle and it is very easy wear, This is a day time and night time highlighter and will not over kill any look. A must for any Mac lover.

This MAC skinfinish is the perfect product to add some definition to the cheek bones, and an all over shimmer. Applying on the top of the cheek bones adds more definition to the upper cheek bone, giving your face a more structured look, and also a shimmery finish when caught in the light. Highly recommend.

Don't get me wrong I love this highlighter. But it isn't my everyday one. The MAC mineralize products are some of my favourite products (especially the mineralise skin finish natural). I find this highlighter to be very glittery which isn't what I want for an everyday look. But is great for a going out highlighter for me. I also find in the daylight that it can emphasise my pores a wee bit. This is a product I would advise swatching it a counter before buying.

I use this nearly everyday as a contour and highlight. It has an amazing color but has quite a heavy glitter, which is easy to get around if you have a slightly damp brush. LOVE this luxe powder!

This Is in my top five highlighters. It would probably be No 2! It is Beautiful. I find that if you wet your brush with Fix + it give a less chunky glittery feel and a more glowing radiant shine.

Oh dear lord, this has to be the ultimate highlighter for me I absolutely love it ☺️ It's so luxurious the amazing highlight it gives my face during the colder months is amazing. I goes so well with every look and I always hey complimented on it most places I go. It also makes a nice eyeshadow so it's double awesome love this best investment I've made. Thank you mac :)

I have been using this mineralise powder for last 5 months and it's just perfect. I use it as setting powder sometimes as well as just go nude with this powder over moisturiser. It's indeed soft and gentle and good for highlighting as well.

Unless you have a good brush it can be a bit difficult to apply, however its a great highlighter. When I don't want to use a bronzer it blend well with my blush, I think also the price is a bit high for this product. But currently I have been using it for over 3 month most days and it hasn't even touched the pan!

I am conflicted on this highlighter. Yes, it is very pretty. Yes, it is a nice quality. But is it actually worth it?? I brought mine from MAC USA site direct, so I didn't pay the inflated price NZ sells it for which I'm thankful for. It's not really something I haven't seen before and is along the same level as Mary Lou Manizer and Stila Duo All Over Shimmer. It's no better quality or standard to those products in my opinion.... So not very life changing for me unfortunately BUT it is still very nice and gives a beautiful highlight... Just like the other mentioned highlighters do! It is quite shimmery so you need to be light handed.

I think if your a huge MAC fan and want a nice quality highlighter in your collection then this is great. I'm just jaded as I seem to have a collection of similar products building up! But if your on a hunt for a good highlighter then this is probably worth a try if you can afford it. It will last you a long time so you get a lot of use for your money.
