I picked up my MAC blush in Hawaii where it was very cheap. I chose the shade 'Full Fuchsia' which is a very intense bright hot pink.
Because it's so bright and so pigmented i need a delicate hand with this - the smallest amount on a fluffy brush, blended well, is enough for a rosy flush to cheeks. It's very easy to be too heavy handed with this one!
The packaging is the MAC typical expensive looking compact - round, with black base and sides and a clear top embossed with the logo, through which you can clearly see the shade. The lid fastens securely.
The blush is a mid-fine mill - not super fine but not coarse. It picks up easily on a brush and transfers and blends well - you just have to be careful of the amount you are using. It tends to remain visible for the day, especially when set with a spray.
I really like this and would purchase more from the range if it were more affordable - nearly $50 is steep for a blush, in my opinion.
The Mac blush to me isn’t anything marvellous. They do have a range of shades which is great but I always find that the powder oxidises really quickly - so I’m constantly scraping the top level to get the true colour. In saying that it has lasted me a few years so can’t complain on that front.
Tips: Make sure to scrape the top layer off every month or so for fresh powder colour.
