I tried this because I was experimenting with different setting powders. The powder is white and comes in a small jar which is great for carrying around with you. When you open the jar I was a little surprised at how big the holes were to get some powder out. They were huge! And stating a little goes a long way, I didnt quite understand the need for such big holes.
When I first applied the HD Studio Finishing Powder, I used it to set my foundation. It felt sharp but cold. Cold like it had been in the freezer for an hour or so. I was told It was because I applied too much so the next time I tried less. There was no sharp feeling but still a slight cool feeling. After about 3 hours I noticed it had become patchy and very greasy around my nose. By the end of the day my whole face looked shiny with grease. Its fair to say the NYX HD Studio Finishing Powder was not right for me.
I was searching for a translucent setting powder for my concealer as I didn't want more colour added round my eyes. Anyway, Paula begun from beautypedia gave this a huge thumbs up ( aside from beautreview, she is the Bible so to speak). It does the trick nicely. I have some fine lines u der my eyes ( being 42...) and this means my concealer doesn't settle into them nor does it crease. We like this. The tub has has little holes in the top line a sieve so the product stays where it should in the tub and doesn't go everywhere.
Tips: Tap the tub on a hard surface before opening in case there is powder that could spill.
