YSL Top Secrets BB Cream

Im lucky enough to have traded with a lady that worker at YSL so I got this practically free, which was so exciting! I have the middle shade and im a light/med skin tone and it suits me well, I find it creamy and non greasy, drys really fast and is not too shiny. I find this evens out my skin tone really well, more then most brands and hides most of my improfections. This would get 5 stars from me if the item was bigger, but a little product goes a long way.

Too orange for me

Firstly I don't know what's top secret about this bb cream. I wasn't really impressed by this bb cream. Personally I found this to be too orange for my skin, and I didn't like the orange shade it turned into when it oxidised. I have this in the shade medium, which is probably a tad too dark for my light olive skin tone.

This bb cream is on the thicker side for a bb cream. It's thicker than your normal moisturiser but doesn't feel heavy at the same time. It feels quite light on my skin and allows it to breathe. The formula isn't greasy and settles nicely on your skin, not too dewy. However I found this to be hard to blend, especially with fingers but I still didn't get a nice result using my stipple brush. My cheeks are often quite dry and the product sits in my cheeks and looks cakey and blotchy.

As a bb cream I found this gave me light coverage, but because this is hard to blend it's not quite build-able. It did hide my redness and even out my skin, also moisturising my skin at the same time. This bb cream has great staying power for a bb cream, and it was still on my face at the end of the day. This bb cream comes a longish skinny white tube, and the product us easy to squeeze out.

Overall, I was disappointed with this product and I wouldn't purchase this again. It is very expensive and not worth the money in my opinion. I would rather spend my money on a nice foundation.
