St. Tropez Double Velvet Mitt

Worked lovely for application. Very smooth application and makes the process really fast! Super soft material. I would definitely use this one again.

Only thing is - I would wash it after every use as it has been sitting with the tan on it - I just checked it and it looks as though the tan has seeped into the inside. I would wash before using it again as I don't want the tan on my hands when using it

Absolutely incredible mitt - it is so soft and the velvet moves around so easily so the mousse spreads like butter. No streaks at all upon drying, and I didn’t get anything on my hands like I do with the usual mitts. Absolute game changer for me

This a a really soft mitt, really easy to wash it out and dries fast. My only slighlty negative comment I have is that it is a small fit, it only just fitted my hand and was tight

The St Tropez Double Velvet mitt was a really great inclusion to trial with the Self Tan Express Advanced Bronzing Mousse. It enabled me to spread the tan easily across the skin. An added bonus was that because the mousse is fast drying, using the mitt meant that I didn’t end up with tanned hands!

I love this mitt so much. It comes in a plastic sleeve, so you know it is clean and brand new. The colour is perfectly matched with the St. Tropez tanning lotion which I thought was a really lovely touch, and it has the added bonus of being easily spotted in the dark, hot water cupboard which is where I let it dry after cleaning.

I loved how the glove allowed the product to glide on and smoothed out so effortlessly any areas I may have been a tad generous on. The material is so plush and soft, it feels very luxurious to use and like a bit of a pampering as it's being used.

The waterproof inside of the glove kept all products away from my hands and nails, and it cleans up beautifully with soap and water. I won't ever be using my bare hands again!

This velvet mitt is the perfect thing to use for applying fake tan to your body. It's quite large so easy to get your hand in and out of, and it also has a lining inside so the tan won't seep through and stain your hands. It glides the tan smoothly onto the skin. Cleaning it is very easy; I just rinse it with warm water and its clean again. The only thing I would change is maybe add a "thumb" part to it - as it's just a giant mitt it can be difficult to get into the small spaces like your toes.

This is a great mitt, nice and thick, very soft and allows the tan to be applied easily and in a way that you don't miss any spots. The plastic lining is nice and thick too so you dont have to worry about any tan seeping through and staining your hands.

Only downside is the colour - while its super pretty, the tan stains it which can make it look a bit rough. I would definitely recommend they make the same mitt in brown or black!

This tanning mitt has a super soft minky outer and a waterproof liner that grips to the hand a little. The minky outer is my favourite part as it is easy clean and glides easily over skin.

It is a contoured shape to stay on the hand and fits nicely on my medium sized hands, but may be snug on larger hands.

The mitt did a good job of spreading tan evenly without streaking and kept my hands nice and clean. I found it really easy to clean with warm soapy water. It is reasonably priced at around $15 at most retailers.

I was lucky enough to trial the St Tropez double velvet mitt with the advanced 1 hour tan. This mitt is so soft and works like a dream. My hand fits in it perfectly and is so easy to hold. A couple of squirts of the foam tan onto the mitt and it spreads so evenly with no streaks at all, I was very impressed. The mitt is a nice bluey/green and has St.tropez written on it, it matches with the tan bottle which is cool. I love how easy the mitt is to clean with cold water and a little bit of soap, it ends up just as soft after washing it. I have another mitt from a different brand but ill definitely be using this one from now on, I found it so much nicer to apply my tan with.

The mitt is quite thin, very soft with a velvety feel with a soft liner inside.

I was glad I didn't have to apply the tanner by hand.

I applied the mousse to the mitt and slightly closed my hand to spread the product on the mitt.

It was so easy to apply in long sweeping motions to my arms legs & declotage but I did have to ensure the Mitt was loaded with product to ensure an even finish.

The Mitt evenly spread the product and application was quick and easy I did it in half the time of my usual gel tanner, which I used to apply by hand.

The Mitt was soft lightweight and didn't slip off my hand.

I didn't wash the Mitt until the next morning, (on 2 ocassions), I was amazed that the product hadn't stained the Mitt and washed out straightaway!

I noticed the glove seemed to take a while to dry inside though.

You definitely need the Mitt to apply the Express Tanner.

I've used the Bondi Sands Mitt and the St Tropez one is much better.
