I LOVE the smell of this, its smells edible, but its so hard to get out of the bottle as its such a sticky thick formula. The little beads in it didnt do much, my skin did feel softer but not exfoliated, which was a same. I actually got a trail size from the womans expo so didnt have to pay for it, but I will once its out just for the smell.

This body wash is strictly peppermint the scent is solid but soft and sweet like candy canes, the consistencey is thick and tacky & lathers well but the packaging is all wrong. The bottle is too solid for the heavy formula you gotta give it a good firm squeeze and it slowly plops out of the bottle. (The cocconut one I have too is the same.)This is sufficiently exfoliating for an every day wash, mild but does the job.
I would not pay full retail price for this product as I find it to be average, but these are often on special for $4 at countdown in which case I might repurchase.
As a huge peppermint fan I just had to try this, and I wasn't disappointed! It smells absolutely amazing and leaves my skin feeling super soft and supple. Wouldn't recommend it for someone wanting a heavy duty exfoliating body wash but if you're a peppermint lover like me then you'll be in heaven! I do wish the smell lasted longer though...
Im a huge peppermint fan and love the smell of it so first impressions was amazing! The smell was strong, however it was a mission to get it out of the bottle! The design of the neck on the bottle is horrible! You get a good work out trying to get the stuff out! As for texture I was disappointed.. The thick texture meant I couldn't feel the exfoliating beads on my skin. My skin did feel nice after my shower but nothing to get overly excited about. Which is a massive shame because the smell is amazing!!
The smell of this body wash is so unbelievably good it shouldn't be legal. It is like crack to me, sometimes I go into the bathroom just to smell it haha But aside from the smell, it does a good job cleaning and washing my body- I don't use it to exfoliate unless I use my exfoliating glove since the beads in the body wash don't do much but its much better used as a standard body wash. Its nice and thick too- which is annoying since its an arm workout to get it out of the bottle but its worth it Always repurchasing when I go to the supermarket.
Tips: When it starting to run out, keep it turned the other way round (like your conditioner bottle would be) so you can get the product out easier and you aren't working out your triceps too much haha
I got a travel sized sample of this from my gym and it is one of those situations where I want the brand to know it was money well spent. The product is delicious! When I next need a body scrub I will be very keen to buy this one.
So about the scrub - it is peppermint scented, so it smells amazing- who doesn't like smothering your body in dessert-scented deliciousness? The scrubby particles give your skin an exfoliate while you rub in on. The product feels quite creamy, too. It didn't moisturise my skin, but then I have very dry skin and not much moisturises it. On the down side, I had to use quite a lot. However, at such a cheap price for the bottle, I don't really care.
Try this for a delicious treat for your skin without breaking the bank!
I was lucky enough to get a sample of this from Palmolive's facebook page. The product smelt so fresh but also a lot like peppermint cadbury chocolate. Due to the small bottle size, it was really difficult to squeeze the body butter out (maybe a larger bottle would be easier?) but once it was on the shower puff, it was super easy to spread over the body. It really did exfoliate! My skin felt soft and tingly after rinsing. Overall, my experience was 'adequate' but I probably wouldn't purchase it.
There were so many times I walked past this on my weekly grocery shop and I finally placed it in my trolley to stop myself lusting over it once and for all (One item down 200 other items I lust over to go) . I have never had a minty type body wash so the thought really had me wondering what it was like.
The packaging shape is a signature shape for palmolive, it reminds me of my own body shape (giggles) the shape of the bottle makes it easy to hold in your hand and easy to squeeze the contents out. When I first tried this I noticed how creamy and thick the body wash is, if you put too much on yourself then its hard to rub around or wash off. I can see why using a loafer would make this 100x easier, but all I have is my hands so I need to use less product and rub it as I wash it off in the shower. The peppermint is a sweet smell, its not too overpowering and is more pleasant than I expected, sadly I am the only one in my household who has been using this as my children and my husband think it smells like toothpaste.
The natural seeds that are for exfoliating are too small to make a noticeable difference in removing any dead skin, but my skin is noticeably smoother and softer after each shower. The peppermint scent also goes away as soon as my shower is over.
I am making my way to the end of the bottle and I have noticed how hard it is to squeeze the body wash out. Because of the thickness of the body wash you need to really use your wrist and flick it until you get some body wash out, very similar to when your getting the last bits of tomato sauce out of your tomato sauce bottle. Sorry a little off the subject but you get my drift.
Overall I wont be buying this body wash again.
I got this in a Women's expo goodie bag and have been eager to try it.
I really love the mint scent it's a really refreshing smell for the end of the day when I shower. It's not to over powering its just right. It has exfoliating beads in it which I find are lost and a bit redundant if your putting this product straight on a loofah like I do. So I use another scrub to supplement it which I don't mind as I do have a lot of products building up. I find the bottle quite hard to manage with slippery hands and would much prefer a pump bottle. It lathers really well though and does the job any soap would do. I would buy it again I really do love the scent it's not to fake like a lot of them but I think it would be better without the exfoliating beads.
I am a big fan of peppermint so when I found this product I had to try it. The scent did not disappoint it smells so delicious just like peppermint, very refreshing for using in the morning. However I didn't find that this product did everything it said it would, it was a thick texture with little exfoliating beads but it didn't exfoliate very well and didn't leave my skin feeling soft and smooth. I expected this product to leave my skin feeling very soft and smooth but it didn't do a lot. Apart from the amazing smell I don't think this product really does what it says it's suppose to.
