I tried this in a small sample bottle. It was a 48ml mini bottle. I used it a couple of times when I showered. I flicked open the lid and had to really squeeze it and pretty much shake the product out. Once I got the product out, it was a creamy consistency and definitely smelt like Peppermint, as I sampled the Peppermint Crush exfoliating body wash with peppermint extracts. I felt it didn't exfoliate my skin that well although, I did feel fresh afterwards. It does smell quite nice. All in all, I thought this product was alright but I wouldn't rush out and buy it full size anytime soon.

I absolutely love peppermint smelling products, so was very attracted to this new bodywash that Palmolive had recently brought out.
When I saw an opportunity to receive a trial size of this, I couldn't wait to try it!
When I received it in the mail, it was in a mini sized curved bottle - such lovely packaging and my first thought was that it would be a fantastic size bottle to keep for travelling.
Of course, as soon as it came in the mail I had to have a smell. Oh the smell is heaven, it has such a strong smell of peppermint! I couldn't stop myself from continually smelling this. Although, this bodywash hasn't been helpful to try to stop my peppermint chocolate pregnancy cravings!
The formula is quite a thickish, white consistency with exfoliating beads. The formula feels nice on your skin and makes you feel refreshed and clean. It feels gentle on the skin and the exfoliating beads are not noticeable at all.
Some Palmolive handwashes can irritate my skin, so I can be a little wary of their bodywashes, But, I found this bodywash gentle and non irritating even for my sensitive skin.
However, the bottle is not designed very well at all. After using it a few times it was very difficult to get the formula out. I squeezed and shook it, and it was time consuming to try to get the bodywash out. This has put me off buying a full size of this, as I don't expect using bodywash to be so difficult! So, I also will not be reusing the small trial sized bottle for travelling!
Overall, a lovely smelling bodywash that is also very moisturising. However, the packaging really lets it down.
I am a big fan of peppermint so when I found this product I had to try it. The scent did not disappoint it smells so delicious just like peppermint, very refreshing for using in the morning. However I didn't find that this product did everything it said it would, it was a thick texture with little exfoliating beads but it didn't exfoliate very well and didn't leave my skin feeling soft and smooth. I expected this product to leave my skin feeling very soft and smooth but it didn't do a lot. Apart from the amazing smell I don't think this product really does what it says it's suppose to.
I have driven my trolley past this so many times at the supermarket and have been tempted to put it in but every time I had that nagging voice telling me no way you have so many half opened and unopened shower gels you don't need more, until one day I just couldn't resist anymore.
The bottle is pretty simple it's a clear bottle so you can how much you have left, it's easy to grab in the shower as its an hourglass shape bottle. The lid is easy to open and close but it doesn't sit on the lid so yep you have to shake it a bit.
The actual shower gel is a white creamy colour with brown exfoliating beads in it. The exfoliating beads are very fine and they don't do a great job exfoliating my skin. My skin is on the dry side though and need a harsh scrub.
The scent is minty but not as minty as I thought (or maybe I expected original source minty-ness) anyway it's not strong. What it lacks in scent it makes up for in moisturising, my skin feels beautiful and soft after using it and I get away with moisturising for a couple of hours before turning into the dreaded crocodile skin look. I won't be repurchasing this again in a hurry Its nice but not amazing
I love a great body wash, it is the start of my day and its great if its a good one. Unfortunately this was not a great one. The smell was pretty good but as far as the exfoliating, I felt it really didnt do as much as others I have used. It was also super thick and it was a real work out for my hands trying to squeeze it out of a wet bottle in the shower. Overall a bit disappointing so I will be on the lookout for a different body wash.
Some mornings I need a little extra pick me so I'm always on the look out for shower products that will give me that lift. I came across this on my search for the perfect minty shower gel when I was in the supermarket. This smells so delicious, it really does smell good enough to eat! In fact, I can't even sniff this during the day as it just makes me want to eat chocolate mint slice biscuits. That is exactly what this stuff smells like.
The packaging itself is quite easy to grip in the shower as it has a 'waist' in the middle and the plastic is squeezable. However this product is so thick that it is hard to get out, especially when you get near the end of the bottle. Even storing the bottle upside down (not easy as it has a rounded cap) does not help. This is also supposed to be exfoliating as it contains 'natural seeds' but they do absolutely nothing. Of well, at least they're not plastic microbeads. My skin did feel soft afterwards but this was more to do with the cream texture than the seeds.
This was good for the price but (surprise, surprise) I prefer Lush shower gels so I won't be buying this again. It didn't give me that minty boost I was looking for so I'm just going to buy the mint slice bickies next time I'm in the supermarket instead!
I got this after liking the sample I was sent even though I had to do superhuman acts of squeezing to get it out of the bottle. This is a very thick body buttery shower gel and is hard to squeeze out of the bottle. Once it's out there is a peppermint smell but I don't find it overly fragranced and it's definitely not enough to wake me up in the morning. The bits in it are slightly exfoliating but not overly so. This leaves me feeling clean but I'm not overly fussed on it so I wont be replacing it once it runs out.
Tips: This product works well on a shower puff thing.
Palmolive sets the scent buds on fire with it's peppermint crush body wash, it gently exfoliates while at filling your nose with the smell of something edible, which I must point out is not! The product cleans and exfoliates well however a lot is still left in the container after multiple squeezes to get it out, it is not friendly to eyes should you get a splash back, and does take a wee while to wash completely off your skin. Its presentation is in a simple bottle, nothing really to grip should you get soapy hands on it, though it's plastic film built into the lid saves for those unfortunate spills in the ground. A very well thought out idea. The plastic cap can be hard to flick up and thus ends up breaking. Price bracket is well within what I would expect to pay for this type of product and fits along with its other products in the same brand.
Tips: Have a strong finger nail to flick lid open.
I LOVE the smell of this, its smells edible, but its so hard to get out of the bottle as its such a sticky thick formula. The little beads in it didnt do much, my skin did feel softer but not exfoliated, which was a same. I actually got a trail size from the womans expo so didnt have to pay for it, but I will once its out just for the smell.
I recently went to a womans lifestyle expo and found a minature bottle of this in my gift bag when I got home. The minty smell was amazing but as an exfoliant I found it the body wash to be quite mild. I also found when using this product my skin dried out more than usual, which I wasn't expecting considering I thought this was a body butter. Overall I was a little disappointed with the product given how amazing it smelt.
