Tips: Exfoliate your hair before going in the shower! Take a brush and brush it in circular motions on your scalp - especially if you have dandruff - to shake off dry skin :)
I used this instead of my usual Pantene proV shampoo and it made my hair so much softer. I love the scent too, very refreshing. Makes hair feel so clean too. The only negative is that it's hard to find in shops these days
Ive not been a fan or used this brand for years. If you google up about the brand / if it is bad for your hair you will see many horror reviews The main additive to blame is silicone which builds up in the hair as it does not fully wash out. Truth be told silicone / dimenthicone is in most hair products including so called professional ones if you read the back of the bottle I prefer to use silicone free hair care so to hear of a silicone free product up for review certainly interested me. I was not impressed with the big extra sticker on the bottles they should of just put it on the original label and in general I do not like pump dispenser bottles for bath and shower products. Reading the back of the bottle I see it is not free of sulphates - they make shampoo or bath gel very bubbly but are drying to skin and hair. I'm not suprised because with claims of silicone paraben and dye free it would have said if it was sulfate free too. Having a sniff I thought the smell is rather quite nice. I used the product several times and let family try it too. I like that a little goes a fair way with the shampoo I don't feel multiple pumps or repeat is required. Hair felt soft afterwards (i used the matching conditioner too) but was not like noticeably softer than before use. I did feel like I got a good clean though in fact I did get a bit of an itchy scalp but i half expected that as the time we had to review the product was shortened so I had to wash my hair more than usual to give a fair trial. Now I really am not familiar with "micellar" products in general so that has next to no meaning or influence on me. Doing research he role of micelles in shampoo is to deep cleanse. So its like a clarifying shampoo removing buildup and impurities but supposedly more gentle. This makes me think it could make a good body wash too. Micelles for skin/scalp can still be too harsh drying and irritate so this is something to be aware if you have sensitive skin. while the micelles are good at pulling dirt and oil from the skin it removes some of the protective acid mantle and over doing this will stimulate more oil production from imbalance. You can read up more about micelles yourself. Back to my thoughts on this shampoo. I think this is a good one if you tend to use alot of hair products to remove them or like a detox. I will use this every now and then for a thorough clean as I do tend to get oily roots at times and I like that a little goes along way with this but due to me getting itchy I can say It is not gentle enough for me to use very frequently or gentle enough for daily use like in the companys description. I really like that this is silicone and paraben free and especially that the matching conditioner is without silicone. Micelles in hair care is quite new so Pantene is keeping up with trends and updated their products by making a micelle series.
