This was a pretty short turn around review so I decided to trial it a little differently. I had 4 days to trial, I usually wash my hair three times a week, so in the quest for authenticity I decided to wash my hair on day one and not again until day four. I really wanted to see how many days I could get between washes.
The bottle is nice, a slightly clinical and simple look which I like. There is also a great pump top. The scent is beautiful, it is strong which I really enjoy, it’s a nice fresh clean scent, not too fruity or sweet - just gloriously crisp.
The shampoo lathered up to a nice creamy foam which washed out easily, straight away my hair felt clean. I often double shampoo but I didn’t need too. After shampooing on day one I felt comfortable enough to wear my hair out still on day 2 with little greasiness, day three I wore it up, it would have been good to shampoo here! I think this shampoo would be good every second day. It was nice and gentle but still a good cleanse!
I was excited to try this shampoo and conditioner combo because I wash my hair a lot as I work out every day (sometimes twice a day). My hair is fine and therefore often flyaway with too much washing and conditioners that leave behind an overly "silky" feel.
The packaging is very elegant and the product looks luxurious and expensive.
The pump action dispenser gives you a set amount which doesn't look like a lot but actually lathers up to be quite good coverage. Probably a little more than I need. It smells delicious and leaves your hair feeling smooth and very clean. It doesn't feel like it 'leaves behind' product like some shampoos. My hair feels great using this range and the flyaways have definitely landed!
Tips: Because of the pump action dispenser, this isn't the easiest product to carry around if you shower away from home a lot like I do. I'd recommend getting some travel bottles and filling them up with the Pantene Micellar shampoo and conditioner if you want to use it everywhere.
