Body Crystal Desire Deodorant Review

I got this in the last beauty vault as I wanted to try a deodorant that doesn't have all the nasties, ie aluminium etc and also it is not tested on animals, win, win and I really love it! It smells great, rolls on like a dream, leaves no white marks and keeps me fresh all day. Admittedly, I have only tried this in the colder months so not sure how it will go in the summer, it does not claim to be an anti-perspirant but it does claim to prevent odours so will see how we go as the weather warms up.

I received this in the last BR vault opening and have been using for the last couple of months. Initially, I was apprehensive about using a CF deodorant as the last type I had tried did not work at all.

This deodorant is a large roller ball type. Bigger than your standard roll on but does the job. I am not a fan of the scent but it does go away after a couple of minutes. Leaves me dry all day so does what I need it do.

I also used this while away in Hawaii with the hotter temperatures and this deo performed perfectly.

Aside from the smell which I can get past, I love that it is cruelty free and at a guess should last me atleast 2-3 more months which is amazing value for money. I will be repurchasing this.

I was confused as I had the impression it was similar to a crystal deodorant I had previously purchased which was a solid crystal that you added water to then rubbed on. So I was suprise that it was a typical roll on type deodorant.

I wasn’t a fan of the smell and found it a bit much for my liking. It made me feel sticky. Not one for everyone but give it a go as it may tick your boxes.

I received this in the BR vault and after almost a month of using it I won't be repurchasing. To be clear this works - it keeps you fresh and odour free. My issue is that it doesn't keep me dry.

I'm used to deodorants that have a thicker liquid consistency but I found this product to be almost water-like. You can hear it sloshy about when shaking the bottle. It's quite a wet formula and takes a good 20 minutes to dry.

The good thing is that it doesn't leave any marks on your clothes if you can't be bothered waiting for the dry down. The scent is very similar to The Herb Relaxation Cream, a leafy lavendar fragrance. I can smell it through my clothes when first applied but after 15 mins you can't detect it.

My issue with the product is that it seems to make me sweat?? I don't have this issue with my go-to deodorant but this one just doesn't keep me dry. It leaves me smelling fresh but I need it to go a step further and keep me dry too and that's the ONLY reason why I won't be repurchasing.

I have used aluminium based deodorants for ever- and suffered the white marks, smell through, and the skin irritation all in the hope of preventing the pong. I purchased this through the vault, and am so happy I have found a new deodorant for life!

I was brave and used it before I went to work- it rolled on beautifully, as it is scented with natural oils didn't smell like chemicals and dried almost instantly. I didn't sweat, nor have 'breakthrough BO' or any marking on my clothes. I will be buying it again and again!
