Colgate Advanced Whitening Toothpaste Review

I don't know whether its the minty freshness or the hint at whitening that always draws me back to purchasing this toothpaste. I am a huge fan of Colgate toothpaste and often have one of these in my trolley.

I have to say that I didn't notice any difference in the whiteness of my teeth but I do love that they have more than one size available.

But on the up side it leaves my teeth fur free and my breathe minty fresh. There is a tad after taste but that doesn't bother me.

We have used Colgate in our house for quite a long time, used to use McLeans but they changed the formula & it tasted like bubblegum, so we changed. Does a good job, whitens teeth, we are tea drinkers & it keeps stains at bay.

I was very sceptical when I first started using this toothpaste but I am hooked on Colgate so decided to give it a try. Taste is great leaving your mouth really fresh. Now for the whitening - yes it does work but I believe it takes time - possibly continous use to whiten and keep them white. It is not going to happen overnight but I would suggest it is one product that would work over a month or more. Try keeping a little baking soda in a Tupperware in the bathroom and putting some onto your toothpaste and it will probably have exactly the same effect!

I purchased this whitening toothpaste from New World on special for $3.99.

It comes in a standard tube, in a standard box with the Colgate logo and some pretty, shiny, silver alongside the standard Colgate red.

On opening the 164g tube, it squeezes easily onto my toothbrush and I use around a pea size of the product. After using a lot of different types of whitening toothpastes lately, I was expecting the strong taste that I’ve come to associate with whitening toothpastes, but this one had a lovely very mild smell and taste.

I brush for about the same amount of time as I would with my other toothpastes, and I find it works well for removing new staining.

The product claims to removes 80% of surface stains, help remove stains, help prevent new stains from forming, and fights germs for 12 hours. It meets these claims very well, except it removes new staining rather old stains, as you might expect of a product of this type and price. My teeth look as white as they ever can without dental input, my breath feels fresh and my mouth clean.

This is great value for a very good toothpaste and I highly recommend it.

The toothpaste is white in colour and has a strong minty taste. The taste is OK for me, not overpowering as some toothpastes are.

The strong minty taste leaves my mouth feeling refreshing, breath smelling great and my teeth pretty clean. The toothpaste bubbles up just the right amount.

After 3 months of continued use, it does whiten my teeth a little bit, but not as white as I would expected. I guess the toothpaste only whitens my teeth in the short term and it took a long time to see the results. You have to use this toothpaste continuously for months.

So if you are looking for a quick teeth whitening toothpaste, this product is definitely not for you. This product seems to whiten your teeth by removing surface stains slowly which is safer than bleaching.

I don’t think this toothpaste can fight germs for 12 hours after eating and drinking as it claims. However, it did make my breath feeling fresh for hours.

Overall, Colgate Advanced Whitening Toothpaste is a good everyday use product. I like this product!. It cleans my teeth pretty well and slightly whitens them. Reasonably priced!

This doesn't make a drastic difference to the whiteness of my teeth but I have noticed when I switch to other non whitening tooth pastes I do notice my teeth are slightly yellower after drinking coffee etc. so I will continue to use this tooth paste but I do think you need whitening strips or treatments to see a noticeable difference.

Leaves breath feeling fresh and teeth feeling super clean, is affordable and easy to find. Does contain fluoride which can be a negative to some. I didn’t notice a huge difference in the whiteness of my teeth, however it offers all the right protections against cavities.

this is a very good toothpaste if you keep using it you will see the results of whitening the teeth slowly ,the only thing is that its not foaming very much and very pricy .

This product is perfect It cleans ur teeth better than normal tpaste I like how it takes longer for ur teeth to het dirty It helps whiten teeth breath is fresher for longer I love Just dont love the price I could get 3 for that price :( But still love

I really like the clean feeling this toothpaste gives, didnt notice to much of a whitening effect.. but there was a slight difference. May be a good product to use if you only have slight yellowing and could be useful to prevent further yellowing/discolouration.
