Colgate Advanced Whitening Toothpaste Review

I had tried colgate total before and wanted to try its whitening version. The tube comes in a whote and silver box with a generic colgate written in red. The original price is a bit steep but I bought it's when it was on special.

The paste is white and I used it morning and night. The mint taste isn't overpowering infact I rather liked it. Left my mouth feeling and tasting great.

However I felt it doesn't really protect for 12 hours as it claims after all that eating and drinking but it does last through most of the day. Also I didnt notice a marked difference in my teeth whitening. But I only used one tube. Might need continuous usage to see any improvement. It did however prevent teeth staining. The color of my teeth remained the same and didnt get worse.

Wouldnt really recommend for teeth whitening but its okay for brusing the teeth.

This toothpaste comes in the typical cardboard box with the colgate logo and the toothpaste inside again looks like a typical colgate product.

Performance wise, this product was also fairly typical. I used it just like I would any toothpaste; brush twice a day with a pea sized amount of toothpaste on the brush.

I can't say I noticed significant whitening effects, it more so seems to just prevent any new staining.

The toothpaste was minty fresh and much nicer than the taste of some other whitening toothpastes I have tried.

The toothpaste is white in colour and has a strong minty taste. The taste is OK for me, not overpowering as some toothpastes are.

The strong minty taste leaves my mouth feeling refreshing, breath smelling great and my teeth pretty clean. The toothpaste bubbles up just the right amount.

After 3 months of continued use, it does whiten my teeth a little bit, but not as white as I would expected. I guess the toothpaste only whitens my teeth in the short term and it took a long time to see the results. You have to use this toothpaste continuously for months.

So if you are looking for a quick teeth whitening toothpaste, this product is definitely not for you. This product seems to whiten your teeth by removing surface stains slowly which is safer than bleaching.

I don’t think this toothpaste can fight germs for 12 hours after eating and drinking as it claims. However, it did make my breath feeling fresh for hours.

Overall, Colgate Advanced Whitening Toothpaste is a good everyday use product. I like this product!. It cleans my teeth pretty well and slightly whitens them. Reasonably priced!

It comes in the standard white box with a gold tube. The toothpaste itself is white and has a mild scent and taste which I prefer.

You do get a decent amount of product as most toothpastes are only around 100g but I still probably wouldn't repurchase since I don't feel like it does much for me. It says it cleans but my teeth still end up feeling fuzzy later on throughout the day and in terms of lightening stains, I drink a lot of coffee and tea and after using a whole tube, I don't feel like there's a noticeable difference.

I would repurchase this if I needed a generic toothpaste but not for its whitening purpose

I purchased this whitening toothpaste from New World on special for $3.99.

It comes in a standard tube, in a standard box with the Colgate logo and some pretty, shiny, silver alongside the standard Colgate red.

On opening the 164g tube, it squeezes easily onto my toothbrush and I use around a pea size of the product. After using a lot of different types of whitening toothpastes lately, I was expecting the strong taste that I’ve come to associate with whitening toothpastes, but this one had a lovely very mild smell and taste.

I brush for about the same amount of time as I would with my other toothpastes, and I find it works well for removing new staining.

The product claims to removes 80% of surface stains, help remove stains, help prevent new stains from forming, and fights germs for 12 hours. It meets these claims very well, except it removes new staining rather old stains, as you might expect of a product of this type and price. My teeth look as white as they ever can without dental input, my breath feels fresh and my mouth clean.

This is great value for a very good toothpaste and I highly recommend it.

This is a great toothpaste for leaving your mouth feeling clean and minty fresh. It tastes and smells great and is the toothpaste I will continue to use. However if you want whiter teeth, you might need to look elsewhere. It gets rid of plaque and food in your mouth, but I haven't noticed much whitening and I have used this toothpaste for years. I am a coffee drinker so maybe coffee stains are just too much for this toothpaste? Give it a go, it's a great toothpaste, but don't get your hopes up about the whitenning factor.

It cleans my teeth well, leaving breath fresh. Although it left my teeth quite sensitive. Most toothpaste don't actually whiten teeth so I wasn't expecting it to whiten my teeth.

I did notice a very slight change in whiteness of my teeth but definitely not to the standard that was advertised. I didn't mind the taste, just like any other tootpaste to that extent. Used it to the end of the tube and it didn't really make an overwhelming change but definitely more than what they were. I wouldn't purchase again given the additional cost for minimal benefit.

I bought this toothpaste as a cheap alternative to whitening strips because a have a few bottom teeth that have a slight yellow tinge to them and it freaks me out. I'm crazy for pearly whites!

As a toothpaste its minty, its refreshing, no harsh taste in your mouth gives your mouth a really great clean... but that not why I bought this toothpaste.

I would use a fulll line on my tooth brush and brush for at least 5 minutes twice a day. I even went to buy a fancy new Oral B toothbrush to aid with the cleaning and whitening. Sadly I have no change in the colour of my bottom teeth after using this toothpaste for months.

I no longer buy this toothpaste because its a waste of money for me, as I can buy a cheaper toothpaste that also cleans and refreshers my mouth as this does.

This is great for cleaning your teeth, but I have never noticed an improvement on whitening of teeth though, more likely prevents further staining then anything else, I don't feel like it has long lasting fresh breath with this product too, so for price and size it's not one of the types of tooth paste I regularly reach for, just a normal standard toothpaste in my eyes
