Here's the honest truth. Toothpaste that claims to whiten teeth? They don't work! Neither did this one for me. Of course I religiously brush my teeth morning/night, use mouthwash, floss when I can and do everything I should be doing so I don't get told off by my dentist. Unless you get professional treatment, you wont find bright white teeth at the supermarket.

Okay
It didn't really make any noticeable difference in the whiteness of my teeth and I have been using it for around a year now. So I wouldn't waste the 3ish dollars extra to purchase it

bad for me
I used this for 3 days and got really sore lips and gums, stoppped using it for a couple of weeks and then tried it again and the same thing happened. whatever is in it that whitens your teeth is too strong for the skin inside my mouth

Not very effective
I get much better results with the 'White Glo' brand you can get from countdown its cheap as and comes with its own specialty brush. The Red Seal smokers toothpaste is another good one and only $3! I also get a better effect just using baking soda on my toothbrush once a week.
Tips: Just use regular baking soda once a week and you will get real results.

More peroxide needed
My partner and I use Colgate max white toothpaste everyday. I wouldn't say it whitens teeth even after using for a long time. It leaves your mouth feeling clean however it has made no change in colour. My partner has honestly had no change in colour either.

Well it's definitely a nice toothpaste which I love using but it doesn't exactly make your teeth white no matter if you use it for a month or 3 :( but apart from that I would recommend it.

colgate toothpaste
this is such a nice toothpaste to use, not so sure about whether it whitens or not but its still a favourite for everyday use combined with colgate sensitive toothpaste to stop my teeth hurting

Have tried using this when it first came out. I am not a smoker so teeth are just the average food stain discolouration. As a toothpaste, it is definitely ok. As a teeth whitening product, one definitely need to use this more than just a week. I didnt noticed any difference in mine, certainly not after one week.
Tips: Use continuously for a month or more to get whitening results and if you have smoker yellow teeth, don't even think about getting a result.
