Cool Charm Roll On Review

LOVE IT! This is by far my favourite scent in the Cool Charm range of roll-ons. Sweet and long-lasting, this roll-on doesn't seem to leave the white marks that other scents and brands do, has almost a moisturizing quality about it on the skin, and did I mention long-lasting? The scent is strong yet once you're layered up in clothing, you can easily wear your perfumes/sprays over the top without it interfering. A great product that I have used time and time again, and would recommend to all those women looking for something a bit fruity and sweet to set them up for the day.

When I was younger I used to use this brand pretty much all the time. It's really affordable, easy to find and there is a large range of scents that smell great.

I recently picked this up again for the first time in a few years. I have some weird thing about liking my roll ons to have a baby powder scent, and this one is quite strongly scented but I really like it.

This is quite a wet formula so you do need to let it dry for a bit before putting on a top. I'm used to it though since I prefer roll ons over sprays. Once it dries, I don't notice any marks on my tops and I also don't get smelly at the end of the day or wet either. I'm not a heavy sweater, so I'm not sure if it's the best protection out there, but it works well for me. I also like that the scent stays as well for most of the day.

The bottle is probably marketed towards younger girls as they have nice bright packaging but that's OK, nothing wrong with being Bright! The bottle functions well too, I never have issues with the ball sticking and the cap has a slight flat spot so you can store it upside down.

If you don't like heavily perfumed deodorant, give this range a miss. But otherwise I'd recommend anyone to give it a go. I'm planning too pick up the frangipani scent next, I remember liking that one too.

Cool charm is the only brand I use. Frangipani freeze is my fav scent, it lasts all day the smell is delicious! Doesnt irritate and works all day long cant still smell the scent at the end of the day, doesnt leave marks on clothing either. Definately recommend.

I remember being younger and this was all the craze. It was roll on and came in a variety of scents. I have tried the Frangipani scent and another one (which I can't remember but it was in a green bottle). The scent is very strong so if you are sensitive to fragrance, give this a miss.

I find that the formula is quite wet and it goes on easily but dries white on me. This can be an issue when wearing darker clothes. I do like that the scent lasts all day and can hide any odour but I feel like it doesn't really do that much in terms of antiperspirant and I still sweat with this on.

I don't have sensitive underarms and for as long as I've used it, I haven't experienced any irritation but if you are sensitive to chemicals and fragrances, this may not work so well for you. I feel that the ball rolls quite well and haven't had any problems with distribution of the product and I like the flat top which allows you to stand it upside down to maximise your use of the product.

Overall, I would say its a decent antiperspirant, but would I buy it again now that I'm older? Probably not, as it doesn't really prevent me from sweating.

Roll on deodorant is so much easier for me to use. My reason for using them is that they are small enough to fit in a bag, whereas sprays seem to be quite large in size to fit in my bag. When I'm looking for a deodorant I look for consistency and scent.

Cool charm has roll ons and sprays. I've used both growing up they were my perfumes and deodorants before trying perfumes. This roll on bottle is simple to open. It has a white roller. The liquid deodorant is clear. I find this scent to be sweet and floral . Smells just like a boquet of frangipanis. One small bottle can last me up to two months with daily use.

My results from using this is a fresh smelling body. I find I do need to apply it again throughout the day for added protection. I think it's affordably priced. It can be easily accesed through supermarkets and chain stores. All up a handy product to use. A great start for a young women starting to use hygiene products.

I have been using these on and off for as long as I can remember and now my two daughters use Cool Charm Roll ons and sprays.

I have tried all the different scents but my two favorites are Fragipani and the one that reminds me of baby powder (light blue) I can't remember the name sorry.

I would apply my roll on after my morning shower and instantly can smell the lovely scent. It would last for majority of the day if not all of the day. I don't find it to stain my clothes which is great and I never get a wet patch on my clothes which some roll ons can do.

It comes in a plastic bottle with a screw on lid. Nothing fancy but its nice. I've never had issues with the 'ball' not rolling and find the 'ball' to apply a nice amount to my underarms.

Overall, I've always been happy with the Cool Charm range and would definitely recommend it.

An easy pick up from the supermarket and it has several smells for you to choose from, I normally just pick a colour and let the smell surprise me, the only one I avoid is baby powder. The company has been around for years, the tag line I remember is "Keep cool, just use your charm," must have paid a marketing team a fortune for that.

The smell does not last all day and as it is very light there is no clash with my perfume. The bottle fits easily into the hand, not the best fit but holdable. The roll ball is large compared with some of the other products on the market, makes it easy for coverage I guess, and I do notice when I haven't used it. Being realistic this probably wouldn't stand up to some heavy use deodorants but for me and my conditions it works just fine, I work in an office block with aircon. If you have high sweat levels, this may not be for you.

What could make this product better is the ability to stand it on its head. At present I use something else and get it angled down so there is no waiting for the liquid to get to the ball. If they ever redesign the bottle please take note of this request.

Would I buy this again? More than likely as I can just drop it in the trolley on my way around the supermarket and it does seem to last a while.

I didn't really find this deodorant that effective at preventing sweat or providing protection against body odour. I needed to keep applying this to stay fresh all day, in particular when I played sport or went running etc.

I have used the pink and purple roll ons ( can't remember the names of the actual scents). I did like the smells of both of them, which is one of the reasons I purchased them. The scents are very girly and fruity, and are very sweet smelling. I did find that the scent didn't last very long either. Maybe an hour or two and then it would wear off.

This deodorant comes in the standard roll on packaging. The bottle has a short handle which is easy to hold, the lid unscrews easily and the roller ball applies the deodorant well.

Overall I wouldn't purchase this deodorant again because I prefer something that gives me more protection throughout the day.

I have been using Cool Charm for years now, I usually use the baby powder 48 hr, put it on when I get out of the shower and it keeps me fresh all day, smells awesome! Definately stops any odour and sweating and doesn't leave any white marks on your clothes, would never stop using this!

I bought this recently from Countdown for $3.49. The scent I bought was baby powder, in a light blue bottle. The bottle is plastic with a ball roller and a screw on lid.

The fragrance is exactly the same smell as Johnson’s baby powder. Once you remove the lid, it rolls on easily and doesn’t soak the armpits.

The product’s claim is that ‘it is gentle on skin, containing no alcohol, parabens or colourants so won’t sting or itch. The encapsulated fragrance and the active protection respond instantly when you most need it’. It doesn’t sting or itch, and it is always good to know it doesn’t contain the main nasty’s most of us would like to avoid. It doesn’t stain clothing either. I can’t say it responds instantly for me.

I find it is gentle and won’t stand up to any harsh sweating. I’ve been using it on and off for years but find as I get older that it doesn’t cope so well with the demands of a higher body weight, or the effects of hot flushes or stress sweats.

I most likely won’t repurchase it but do recommend it to those who don’t require an extra strength antiperspirant, because as I say, it was great when I was younger and the demands on it were less, so it is a good product and is a very reasonable price.
