Mitchum Roll on Deodorant Review

I love this product. I have been using it for years and it is my go-to. It looks like a standard deodorant, same packaging shape and size, however it is so powerful within!

It rolls on smoothly and depending on which one you get, has a faint nice scent. It seems to take a few minutes to dry so hold off from putting your dark clothing on until then as it can leave marks on your tops.

It lasts me all day, keeps me from smelling gross and really works. I have a job where I work long hours and am sometimes running around a lot and I would be a smelly mess without this deodorant!

This deoderant comes in 2 forms as far am i'm aware of and have used. One is the standard roll-on, the other is in a creme stick from, and there is around a $10 price difference between the two.

The stick is my prefered option, and other than scent, I don't find it any different from other stick deoderants that i've tried (Rexona & Nivea clinical protection.) Which isn't a bad thing, these are all around $15 deoderants, and personally I think that they're generally superior to roll-on and aerosol types.

The stick is a creme that almost turns to a light powder upon application. It dries quickly and completely prevents sweating 100% (and i'm a heavy under-arm sweater). But it does tend to leave white marks on clothing, nothing that doesn't wash out.

The roll-on version I find also prevents sweating, but not for as long as the creme stick. It doesn't tend to leave white marks on clothing, but it's a very wet deoderant and takes a couple of minutes to dry.

I continue to buy this brand in both roll-on and stick form because I know that it works for me, and i've tried so many others that don't.

Love this deodorant, always lasts the whole day even after sweating. I always buy the "Shower Fresh" version as I found the powder one let marks on my clothes.

It's pretty awesome when a basic, everyday item is actually something I look forward to using - and this roll on deodorant is. I love the scented version as it smells like baby powder but isn't overwhelming and doesn't seem to clash with other body products or perfumes once it's on. I apply it daily in the mornings - although I have forgotten a couple of times and have been fine throughout the day, so it does seem to live up to its claim of keeping you dry for a whole 48 hours. The formula dries relatively quickly and doesn't leave any white marks, and once it's dry it's definitely dry and there's no sticky feeling during the day (unlike with some other roll on deodorants) - so I don't think about if I'm 'protected' at all as the day goes on, which is the sign of a good deodorant. I often applied straight after shaving, and never had any irritation. While I'm interested in trying some more 'natural' alternatives, this is a pleasant and cost effective product which I'd happily use again.

This is my go-to deodorant, especially in summer. I have to alternate deodorants as I find if I use the same one continuously then I seem to become immune to them and they stop working. This is my favourite though and I alternate this one with a few others (depending on what's on sale in the supermarket) It always the one I go for in summer or when I'm travelling to hotter climates.

I get the shower fresh one, which comes in a light green bottle and smells like baby powder. It's a subtle smell that doesn't overpower other scents. I noticed with my latest bottle that the top is now flat, so you can now store it upside down and get all of it out at the end of the bottle. It dries fairly quickly, doesn't stain clothes or feel sticky. The label on the bottle claims you can skip a day. I've never deliberately done this but have accidentally forgot to apply more than once and have been ok.

I've bought this for years and will continue to do so. I just wish you could buy the gel and cream versions here like you can in the States (although I've picked them up at one of those big cosmetic sales before)

Yes yes yes. I use this roll on every night after showering. It keeps me dry all night and all day. Its has a clean powdery scent which I really like. The packaging is great, a light green colour making it stand out on the shelf from the other roll ons. The roller ball is not to big or to small. Like I said before, I apply straight after showering so it has time to dry while I moisturise and what not. And its affordable so win win

This is a good basic product. It does a good job of controlling sweat and is pleasantly scented in a non-obtrusive way (you don't want deodorant that clashes with your perfume). It is easy to find and won't break the bank. The only downside is that, being a roll-on, you need to allow time for it to dry before getting dressed. On the whole a good product that does what it should.

Before I switched to clinical strength deodorants (long days that often involve sport in the middle of a workday!) I swore by Mitchum Roll On, and my preferred variant was the 24 hour one.

On top of being easily affordable, and distinctive with the green packaging, I found that Mitchum roll on was really effective, and stopped both wetness and odour. The scents were inoffensive (in comparison to other brands in particular) - I don't feel like scent should come from your armpits, personally and prefer my deodorant mostly unscented.

One issue I had with this product repeatedly was drying time, and in the end I resorted often to my favourite trick: popping the hairdrier on cool and using it to dry deodorant :p

If I were on a budget I'd happily go back to using this range, but feel that the clinical strength ones are right for me at the moment.

One of the best deodorants I have ever used, definitely keeps you smelling nice all day. Would highly recommend this product. Especially if the deodorant you are currently using doesn't last all day. I have tried a few different ones and this is definitely one of the best
