I guess I have used pretty much all the tampons at the supermarket. These were probably the first ones that I ever used. They are great economy as they are quite affordable. The wee boxes they come in a quite sturdy and fit neatly inside most little purses, so you don't have to worry about grabbing a handful of tampons from your bag and then spilling them embarrassingly all over the floor. I think these are great tampons which suit beginner uses and experts alike!

Tips: Keep.a box in the car, your bag, bathroom drawer.
I have been trying all different brands of tampons lately and came across these. I have the Slim Regular. I love that they are tapered, it really does make for ease of insertion and removal. The packaging, I find calming. Tones of blue. Twist open wraps easy and fast to use. Click box also means when I put it in my handbag they will not get lost in there. Lots of pros. One con, was it a bit fluffy on removal once.
I use a mix of of "light" and "medium" tampons so find it a bit of a bummer that this brand only offers the medium and super. Regardless, i'd still purchase these again.
Recently tried the Libra 'slimpons' at that dreaded time of month. I am in love with the purple string (it's the little things, huh ;) and the cute pink zebra print packaging! They are nice and comfortable and I've had no issues with leakage. I don't find them uncomfortable to insert or remove at all. I think i will be splurging and buying these every month from now on! Perhaps with a bar (or block) or chocolate to go with!
I usually have a range of tampon brands on hand depending on what's on special at the supermarket. Libra is mostly the middle of the road for me. They can feel a bit scratchy/dry when inserting, but I find they absorb the same amount as other tampons.
Let me begin by saying that I love the packaging of all libra products. They are fun and girly. This is no different. The box is easy to secure and pop in the bag. The tampon comes individually wrapped and to open you just have to twist the wrapper.
The tapered tip makes it easy to slide through and its very comfortable to wear. I mainly use the regular one as I find that it is just right for my flow. It stays with me for 4-6 hours at a time. I dont use it during the last days as there isn't much flow and that makes it difficult to pull the tampon out. I do use a panty liner with this just in case if theres any leakage.
No matter how good Libra is I have my favorite brand and would prefer to use that. Its just a personal prefence and nothing against the product.
I have tried every brand out there and always come back to Libra. Easy to open, cute looking packaging. Very affordable and work very well. Will continue to use as I think they are the best.
These tampons are certainly not my favourite the last time I used one of these the tampon didn't absorb much of my flow but leaked it out instead and when I went to remove the tampon it was still so dry (even after 5 hours) that the tampon disintegrated inside me which I then had to remove using my finger (gross) as well as this it ruined a great pair of underwear from the leakage. Not Happy
I find these seem to be the best value for money especially the 32 packs I just have a couple of the smaller boxes that I fill up for one in my bag and one in my car so I don't often get caught out I don't find that they fluff out when you put the cord from the package which drove me nuts. I also like the different boxes you can pick
I have bought these in many iterations over the years, in all kinds of box designs. Libra were my favourite for a long time, especially their pads with the cool facts - why can't they do that on the tampons?
I find them easy to use and I like the click shut box, though I keep mine in a specially designed plastic case which only holds 3-4.
I like the bright wrapper on the tampon itself, though it can be hard to avoid touching the tampon (other than just the base) while inserting it, which I try to do to avoid contamination of the tampon, even though I always have clean hands.
They do their job and are reasonably priced and no doubt I will buy them again (though U by Kotex are my current brand of choice)
These are not only convenient in size but convenient for when you need a descent product to handle a tricky job!
The tapered end works well and the knotted string end is strong. So when you tug it out there are never any mishaps, if you know what I mean. I find them non-irritating and they holds up well in all sorts of conditions. Highly recommend.
