For some reason, my body does not react well with the libra tampons. When i have used them i get constant cramps and pains and find it takes me numerous attempts to get it in the right position and even then i still get a lot of discomfort. I have changed from libra tampons and would not purchase again.

I have been using the same product for my nether region, for ever and not getting such a wonderful result so it was time for a change. I am pleasantly surprised! This product claims to be fluffless and it is,and its very absorbant...no embarrassing accidents! Good value for money, comfortable fit and does a great job. Its A plus from me :-)
Tips: Cute packaging!
Over the years I have tried different brands but this is one that I prefer for comfort, price and just feeling protected by. They come in different absorbency levels and I find I am fairly consistent but can fluctuate between. They used to be better in my opinion (could just be my body post childbirth) as they fluffed less on removal but have found that other brands can be worse in that respect. Whilst I find another brand easier to insert I still prefer to buy this particular one based on price and availability as well as staying put (it's also handy if sending the unsuspecting husband to do the groceries and then slipping tampons on the list heehee... at least he recognizes the brand I use most often and comes home with these).
Tips: If you are just starting out... try a couple of different brands and opt for ones with applicators as they can be great to position the tampon correctly until you get used to where they should sit. A tampon shouldn't feel uncomfortable to use. Read the instructions and understand how often you need to change them.
I tried Libra tampons at various stages over the years for a variety of reasons - after noticing friends using them, borrowing them when I've been caught short, purchasing them when my go-to brand wasn't available etc. and also because I thought I'd see if they were better than my usual go-to tampons. Over the years the packaging has changed a little but not much - quite bright but plain and bearing the Libra logo.
The tampons themselves are reasonably easy to unwrap and insert, pretty much in line with other tampons that don't have applicators, and are as aborbent size-wise, as any other.
Like wise they are similarly priced to other brands of the same product size and pack size.
I find them pretty good but like other brands, somehow lack something that has stopped me from breaching my loyalty to my go-to brand. I'm just not sure what that is, but my go-to brand is completely non-fluffy whereas the other brands aren't as tightly packed (if that explains it?).
From my knowledge Libra don't offer sample packs like Kotex do.
I would recommend the brand to women to try, as most brands are quite similar it's worth trying them all to find what suits you uniquely.
When I think of feminine hygiene products, the name in the forefront of my mind is Libra. Since I was a teenager it has always been my brand of choice. These tampons in particular come in two separate boxes which are small enough to fit in to any size bag. I make sure I always have a box in my bag for those times that catch you off guard.
I paid $7.60 for a pack of 16 Super sized tampons which is affordable for those with a 'normal' flow but for me I would need three or four times that during the cycle which can eat in to my bank account. Despite this I love the cute girly designs that the boxes come in. For something made for hygiene and made to be thrown away they have really concentrated on the appeal of the packaging to take the mundane task of buying them to a new level.
I found that they are easy to use (once I got used to them), are comfortable and they don't leak. They are discreet and can be held in your fist for those moments and easily fit in to small spaces. Perfect accessory for any woman on the run for those uh-oh moments and when wearing white pants!
Tips: Keep a few in your purse
These are amazing!! Libra is the first tampon brand I had ever heard about and this seams to be the brand I always head towards. Sometimes I'll try other brands but 9 times out of 10 I'm a libra girl. They side in easily and are just as easy to remove. Iv had other brands that feel like they have stuck to your insides and don't want to come out which doesn't make it very enjoyable.
I also like how the box and wrapper have a funky design on them so they don't make periods seam like a scary thing
I am a Libra girl. I like these tampons because they are small; slim in fit and packaging. They are easy both to insert and to remove, and they come in funky little boxes. I am also glad you get more that one box in a set.
Libra has done a really good job in making periods less frightening with how they present their tampon, it is small, funky and non-threatening (not like those horrible long stick tampons).
In terms of how effective they are; I stick to the less than 8 hours that you should. After the first 3 days of my period one tampon could easily see me through that eight hours, but before that a liner or pad is best to be worn as well. So basically test how heavy you're bleeding and if the tampon can cope with that before you head out in public with nothing but a tampon.
Libra is an affordable, effective product and this would be my favourite tampon brand.
Libra is one of the most reliable personal hygiene products out. When I do my grocery shopping that's when I'd normally purchase my packet of tampons.
These tampons come in these small boxes. I like the size of these boxes as they are compact enough to fit into a handbag or store away in a bathroom cupboard. Each tampon is individually wrapped. The tampon itself is sturdy. It feels soft upon touch. When I used these I found that I was well protected. I didn't have any leakage at all. I found them a breeze to apply. I can dispose of these easily.
Overall their easy to use. Compact enough to fit it in a bag. Easy to dispose of. Not overly priced. Both packs can last me a month if not longer.
Libra is my go to brand. I usually get the 16 pack which has 2 boxes of 8. These are very easy to hide away in your handbag and are perfect if you are trying to be discrete. The packaging on the tampon itself comes in pretty designs and is easy to open. They are easy to insert and are really comfortable to use.
I without a doubt think that these over dry you. They hurt when pushing in and pulling them out because they soak up any moisture allowing the tampon to remove itself. Found myself needing to many trys to get in the right place
