so i would prefer a natural deo but i couldnt find one that didn't make me smell like b/o, this was the closest i could get, i know for sure that this one works for me as well as being cheap, and i like that it is unscented so it doesn't clash wit any perfume i wear.

This roll on deodorant comes in a standard roll on container, a variety of colours depending on the type, and with the MUM logo. It looks like most roll-ons.
It is quite small and easily transportable, for carrying in your bag or leaving in your desk drawer for a top up during the day or before going out after work.
I have tried a variety of scents over time and have found them all pleasant.
While it looks like other roll ons, what usually appeals to me was that it can often be purchased from somewhere ( Warehouse, New World, Countdown) for a discounted price. I find it very pleasant and easy to apply, and it lasts most of the day. A container lasts for a few weeks so is very economical at usually around $3 on special.
The product claims to be an all day antiperspirant deodorant, non sting and alcohol free, and it is all of these things.
Over the years I have purchased Mum roll on dozens of times, and think of it as ‘an oldie but a goodie’, and ever reliable. I remember my own mother using it!
I certainly do recommend it to others and will continue to repurchase it myself.
Tips: Buy several when they're on special - they are great value :)
A step into memory lane this was the first roll on deodorant I had and used for about 2 years straight. I was entering puberty and things started to get really smelly under my arms, that's when my mum brought mum (haha) I liked the pink one the best, I think it was called cool pink or calm pink, one of those.
It was always refreshing to use, and would get me through school and sports easy peasy. It kept me dry for a few hours where I needed to reapply 4-5 hours later. It was convenient and an easy color to find in my school bag.
Last year I went to visit my grandparents who live in the middle of no where, I had forgotten to pack my deodorant and I had to pop into the dairy before it closed, there were a few deodorants to choose from but I chose MUM and I couldn't believe how many memories it brought up using it again. Sadly I am more smelly under the arm pits and it doesn't work as well as it used to at high school.
Mum (the pink one, maybe rose?) used to be the only roll on I used through high school! I do remember it making me feel fresh and definitely being only slightly perfumed so it didn't upset my sensitive skin. I may have to revert back to old ways and see if it's the go for me still!
I do, however, remember it being a lot cheaper, that's why my mum used to buy it, as she had 2 teenage daughters in the house.
Great at containing body odour all day but I find that after using it for a while my armpits start to itch. No visible signs but I think I just react if I use it for too long. So I tend to use this deodorant until finished and then move onto another brand and then come back to this. Not sure what causes it.
My mother has always used this stuff, and I understood why once I grew out of my teen-aged liking of smelly products. Now I pity my poor mother for having to put up with clouds of vanilla flavoured spray on deodorant. This is one of those products that has been well done. A bottle of this is cheap, easy to find, and last for ever. The fragrance is never overpowering and doesn't give you itchy armpits. I have never found any deodorant that is better, and I don't think I will.
Tips: Clean out and refill empty bottles with sunblock for easy application at the beach!
I used to purchase whatever was on special, but after trying Mum dry roll on, it was hard to go past. I find that even on the hottest most stressful of days, its always great. Firstly no stinging on delicate underarm skin, its also really kind to underarm skin and does not dry this area out. The fragrance is delicate but not overpowering and certainly very feminine. I didn't really understand how it could be a roll on but could also be dry - seemed a bit odd, but it really is dry, no sticky wet residue under your arms and on your clothes. I have never noticed that it has left white marks on any of my clothes. It is really easy to use, take it anywhere, lovely compact packaging. Definitely one to recommend.
Mum is that brand that you grow up with in New Zealand, it's the one your own Mother uses and it's probably your first deodorant.
Why, because it's good. It's cheap, easy to find and it works. It doesn't do anything fancy and it doesn't look fancy it just, keeps you dry and helps you smell better. It does what it says it will do. What more can you ask?
I've been using this since I was a kid, my Mum uses it too. I've tried many others over the years but it's the one I always have in my cupboard just in case.
I've tried many of the different scents, the blue and purple are my go to ones. Nowadays I live overseas but guess what my Mum always sends me in her care packages!
Mum Roll On Deodorant works really well, you can use it whenever you need it. It's fine for use after shaving as it has no alcohol. You won't get any stinging. It will keep you dry most of the day and the smell is not overpowering at all. It makes you smell good but no one is going to notice that you are wearing some kind of scent. It's not going to interfere with you other scents if you wear perfume.
It also does not leave any white marks, (well it never has for me) and you can't feel it once its on. Sprays are okay but if you need decent coverage then you need a roll on. I live in a place that has a very hot and humid summer. Just a spray won't cut it.
The bottle is so small that it is great for travel. I always keep one in my handbag for emergencies. It may not look glamorous or have the new fancy named scents but at the end of the day only one thing matters - 'it works'.
Mum has been sold in supermarkets for such a long time. As a young girl growing up I recall my mum buying me one of these deodorants. Its easily accessible to buy.
Comes in a roll on bottle. Easy to open and close. The texture of it is liquid . My mum used to buy the green bottle of mum. It had a fresh scent like green tea . I have tried the purple bottle as well. It reminds me of a floral scent. I love the name mum. I instantly think back to my memory of mum giving me this to use.
When I apply this to my body it feels wet. When I have shaved I didnt get any irritation with it. The scent lasts on me all day. I do need to apply more at night.
My results it did a good job of keeping me dry Nd smelling hood. It's affordable to buy. I really enjoyed using it.
I have used Mum dry roll on deodorant for about 30 years and I am a true fan of it. It does keep me dry all day and I do not have any issues with body odour or perspiring when using it. I have from time to time tried a different brand but always go back to Mum as the tried and true deodorant. The only tiny issue I have is that there appear to be only three fragrances available and I would love to see a more extensive range.
