I found Nads Facial Wand / Eyebrow shaper to be effective but hard work as its very sticky and difficult to work with in comparison to normal waxing strips. I also found my upper lip would swell slightly after use and also found it would leave little bumps on my skin. THe redness amd swelling would take 1-2rs to go down. I have not used this product since as im pretty sure i experienced an alergic reaction.

Tips: test before use.
This is not the product for me. The wax was extra sticky and even though it had a "slim tip precision applicator" it didn't apply smoothly and evenly, making it very messy. Also when I removed the strip, it removed very few hairs and i had to redo it more than once to get all of it off
I tried this about a year ago with not much success.... I then tried again a few months ago and still the same result.. frustration.
I have jet black eyebrows and the hair is failry coarse but the density is not thick, I find the regrowth after shaping is a bit sporadic but very noticable being black. I wanted to try this product as I usually use tweezers and pluck and felt too lazy to attempt my usual routine.
I found this product was very messy to apply and tricky to remove with the little cotton strips, the removal rate for me was a bit hit and miss making several attempts necessary.... I ended up with hurting angry red skin and stray stubborn hairs that just would not move. So in the end I found I had to apply a combo method of wax followed by pluck to save my skin.
Since the product didn't remove the hairs without trouble, was messy and expensive for the little amount you get.My tip would be to avoid this product, I am glad I tried it, but I will continue with my tweezers. thanks
I think this product works fine if you are using it to try and remove a decent amount of hair but if you are trying to remove those few annoying stray hairs it does not work. Personally find plucking is much easier then using this
I have thick eyebrows so always wax first and tweeze after. I usually use veet wand or bikini wax but thought I would give this a try. I found I had to do the same spot twice as it wasn't very sticky and didn't remove all the the hair. It was easy to wash off and didn't leave any residue but I didn't think it was ideal for eyebrows.
Tips: Put talc on eyebrows to absorb any oils first
Won this (along with some other Nad's products) a while back. Have tried this out a few times and i'm not too impressed. It's fairly easy to use and doesn't take more than a few minutes but it's kind of messy and doesn't get rid of all the hairs. I personally just prefer using tweezers- it's cheaper, easier and less messy :)
This product was too awkward to use as it was too thick or stringy type even though it was sitting in a glass of hot water. I prefer the strips
The gel wax is amazing at removing unwanted hair, but the gel comes out at the side, and it makes it hard to apply and shape the brows. I’m left with uneven eyebrows now, and have to wait for it to grow back.
This product worked well on a friend who needed a lot of hair removed but not so well for me who just needed a fix up before my next eyebrow appointment. I find using tweezers to be much less time consuming and work better. I also found the wax pen hard to work with.
I did not enjoy using this at all. The concept is easy enough to understand but the gel is very sticky and difficult to apply meaning you don't quite get the smooth finish that they imply. I found it much easier and less painful to go a salon, especially for the price.
