This product has a lot of hype to go with it! No heat, easy application (and precise), use again and again and do it all yourself at home for salon results! So of course I was keen to give it a go, at least to get the pesky blonde hairs that seem to escape my regular shaping regime.
I thought that this product was ok - not over the moon good, but not a bad product either. The things that let it down were the formula and the wand. The formula was very thick and hard to easily spread on. I guess this is part of it being a no heat formula and maybe on a second try, I would heat the product a bit to warm it up for easier application. The second let down was the wand tip itself. It has been designed for precision around the eyebrows so you make no mistakes, but I found it to be a bit too wide. However it was more the consistency of the product that made the application via the wand rather difficult.
Now for the positives! It did do the job! However I had to get the tweezers out for VERY close to the brow line as it was hard to wax right up to. The cleansing wipes for before and afterwards smell AMAZING! And they get all the formula off very well. The strips are very standard but a good design and size to get the job done! The twisting notion of the wand is a nice touch instead of having to apply from a tub. This product would be really good to travel with so that is a big plus!
Overall, I would get this product as a travelling solution or if the price was right as an in between salon visits product. It was simple to use and mostly was a job well done.
So first impression of this product was interesting... I had ever only had my eyebrows waxed once and I haven't been back since. How I usually shape my brows is I pluck them every other day and I've been doing this for about a year now so I've gotten used to the feeling. I think I prefer plucking them because I don't get extremely bushy brows just a couple of stray hairs that tweezers can get rid of. Now the reason why I wasn't particularly amaze with this was because I find that the gel didn't help get rid of all the hair on the places I applied it. I would apply a strip under my brows and there would still be a couple still there when I ripped it off. I would then have to go back with a tweezer and pluck them, so I might aswell just skip the 'waxing' step. I also find that the product was too sticky and dry and not easy to apply enough. I would have to get some hot water and place the tube in a bowl for around 4 minutes for the gel to soften up and be applied. I think that is too long for something that is meant to be done at home and although it says you can rub it between your hands, it didn't work for me. Last of all the product I found was a mess. So once you twist the product up and you've applied it to your brows, the product just keeps coming out. I'm not entirely sure on how I should be closing the tube - should I just place the cap on, or is there meant to be some other way? i did just try putting the cap on and that was a mess, because the next day the product had leaked onto the cap and it just created a mess.
Overall I don't think I would use it again, I had high expectations and they did not meet my standards I wanted. If you are a person who doesn't like tweezing then I guess you could try it rather than getting it done professionally but if you don't mind tweezing and your eyebrow hairs are minimal then I would just continue plucking.
Tips: definitely place it in hot water for it to soften up
