I would not buy this product again. It is not easy to control or apply and did not remove the unwanted hair. It may work better if someone else is doing it for you but in my opinion this was a big waste of money. You might as well go to the salon at this price this costs. Adding to that mine broke after a couple of uses and could not be repaired so was an ever bigger waste unfortunately. Wouldn't recommend this.

This is not the product for me. The wax was extra sticky and even though it had a "slim tip precision applicator" it didn't apply smoothly and evenly, making it very messy. Also when I removed the strip, it removed very few hairs and i had to redo it more than once to get all of it off
I really enjoyed this product, I use it mainly for touching up areas around my eyebrows after tweezing, I find it works best on the fine white hairs around my eyebrows rather than the thicker hairs. I have also used on my upper lip and found it to be just as effective there.
I have been using wax at home for around 15 years and I found this to be an easy and fast way for removal of facial hair. The application tip is great and if I need to disperse the wax further I use a clean orange stick (the ones for your cuticles!) I love that the wax does not need to be heated as there is no risk of burning.
The formulation is pleasantly scented and easy to spread out.
Tips: Follow the instructions carefully to get the best results, do not rub the wax on the cotton sheet too much before removal or the wax will become warm and will not remove hair properly.
I have re-purchased this product a couple of times now and have never been disappointed. It is quick and super simple to use at home. The results have been very positive for me, and found it well worth it compared to paying to have it done at a salon. The smooth formula allows it to go on easily and is distributed accurately. I don't need to use tweezers at all. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a cheaper alternative to professional brow waxing.
Tips: Slowly apply the wax to the area taking care not to get too much on at once.
Really cool, easy to use product. Does not require heating and so perfect for skin that is sensitive to heat. The thin applicator works great if you don't have much space to work with between eyebrow and eye lid. No unpleasant smells and it comes off easily. Definitely a faster and more gentle alternative to tweezing / hot waxing. Pay attention when using as a simple slip could mean you're removing more than intended.
Tips: Apply Vaseline or any other petroleum based jelly on actual eyebrows to prevent the wax from sticking to hairs you DON'T want to remove. Avoid touching the area with fingers or applying make up for a few hours after use.
I found this product very easy to use, I'm just not very good at shaping my own brows. I did lose all of the cotton things before the product wore out.
Personally I prefer a hot wax to this. I find the adhesive is not brilliant and it takes a few goes to remove all of the hair.
This facial wand is great. The wand makes it easy to apply to the areas you want to wax. When applied you then just use the provided material strips and firmly press down onto the waxed area and then remove quickly. it's amazing how much hair it actually pulls as you can clearly see the hair on the strip. I have also used this on my top lip, it is amazing. so quick and no mess. I will definitely be buying this product again when I run out of my current supply.
Tips: Great for your top lip :)
I have pale yellowy olive skin, and dark brown hair. I have enough hair on my upper lip that it bothers me, so I have been waxing it off for years and have tried lots of different kinds of wax. I’ve never bothered to get it done by a beautician as I find it’s so easy and cheap to do in the privacy of your own home. I tend to wax every couple of months, with tweezing in between to maintain. I find that even blonde upper lip hair becomes super noticeable in the sun, so I much prefer to wax rather than bleach.
I bought this to do my upper lip as I prefer to tweeze my eyebrows - I find it far more precise.
This stuff was meant to be awesome - you smear it on, put the strip on top and then pull off. My mistake was heating this using running water when my body heat was insufficient. Water got into the tube and made it totally unusable - what a waste. A bit of a fail on my part but a packaging fail also. If water can get in, can wax get out if it gets too warm? I hope not.
I also found it difficult to apply. I much prefer the strips where the right amount of wax is already on the strip - I just find it so much easier.
I’ve been waxing my brows at home for a while now, I had purchased some wax strips for the ever darkening top lip, and as my brows needed plucking, thought I’d give them a go. Once I got the hang of strips, I thought there’s got to be an easier way, so did a bit of research and found this wand. It didn’t have terribly good reviews here, but I had won a voucher for a pharmacy, So technically it didn’t cost me.
I rolled it in my hands to warm it a little, even though the wax was “ready to use straight from the box”,it is winter and the bathroom can quickly bring the temperature of products like wax to less than ideal. I was quite surprised to find the wax was at a great consistency.
The wand made it very easy to apply the wax in the right area (always a worry when I use pre-waxed strips, that I won’t see myself accidentally placing the wax part over my brow and rip it off without realising!). I placed a strip over the wax, but it virtually lifted no hair from the skin. I tried several applications, re-read the instructions, even tried the other brow, but virtually no hair removal.
The skin around One of my brows was left quite red and swollen, I realise now I should have done a patch test and given it was around my eye area, will definitely do this next time I use a product like this around the eyes. I applied an after wax oil treatment (that came from a similar brand with other wax products I use) and over the following days got worse and definitely put me off giving the product a second chance. No one commented on my swollen/darkened skin, but I felt like it was screaming out at people - I would not liked to have put makeup over it that week.
I gave the wand to a friend to try, she hasn’t braved it yet! I won’t be using this product again, back to the pre-waxed strips that I know work for me.
Ok there is nothing really that wrong with this product. It does what It says it will do. Removes facial hair. But not as well as a salon professional does it. Much prefer going to a professional who can shape my eyebrows perfectly and remove facial hair with less effort. Considering the price of this product it isn't that much cheaper than going to the salon anyway and the results aren't as good. Unfortunately the one I had somehow broke with half the product still in the tube and It wouldn't wind up and release the product. So a bit of a waste of money and time.
