I purchased this to tame my brows, usually i go for the strips and cut them but saw this and was like that is an awesome idea. Got home and gave it a go...well first go i think it removed one or two hairs so i tried again i tried sitting it in hotter water thinking not warmed up enough....this time same result. I tried one more time still same results again. Blah i gave up it wasn't working for me not sure why, but I think I will stick with the strips which is a shame because I liked the concept

Reviews
I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial this eyebrow shaper. I normally go to a salon for eyebrow shaping and was very keen for a cheaper option.
Upon reading the directions I was a little bit disappointed to see that the strips it comes with are "washable" not "disposable" because of the extra effort required but they turned out to be extremely easy to wash and having washable strips means they'll never run out!
The wax was quite sticky at room temperature so I rubbed the tube to warm it up and this helped. I used it to wax my brows and I found it did a great job at removing all those fine hairs that aren't really visible when plucking. The downside of using this on the eyebrows is that the shape of the applicator tip made it difficult to achieve precise lines so I didn't want to apply it to close to brow line.
I then thought i'd try it on my upper lip. The precision of the applicator wasn't a problem in this area and it removed hairs nicely.
I also then used it on my partners brows to tidy them up and his skin was nice and smooth afterward and he commented how painless it was.
All in all I like this product but I probably wouldn't purchase it due to the difficulty I had achieving a precise line but I would recommend it to anyone waxing a small area where precision isn't essential.
Personally, this product didn't work for me. I struggled with the application to the brow and the upper lip. The plastic tip just pulled and tugged on my skin even after heating the product slightly. The was hard to smooth out into a thin layer across the skin and I found it easier to use my fingers to apply it which was a little bit strange. The packaging is cute and compact but this isn't a product that I would purchase in a shop for the RRP, if gifted to me again I would use it again but it is not my favourite wax product. I found the wax was very solid and extremely sticky even when trying to remove with warm water.
Tips: Heat the wax before application to ensure a smoother application and use a different tool to apply a thin layer as the plastic tip pulls on the skin.
So first impression of this product was interesting... I had ever only had my eyebrows waxed once and I haven't been back since. How I usually shape my brows is I pluck them every other day and I've been doing this for about a year now so I've gotten used to the feeling. I think I prefer plucking them because I don't get extremely bushy brows just a couple of stray hairs that tweezers can get rid of. Now the reason why I wasn't particularly amaze with this was because I find that the gel didn't help get rid of all the hair on the places I applied it. I would apply a strip under my brows and there would still be a couple still there when I ripped it off. I would then have to go back with a tweezer and pluck them, so I might aswell just skip the 'waxing' step. I also find that the product was too sticky and dry and not easy to apply enough. I would have to get some hot water and place the tube in a bowl for around 4 minutes for the gel to soften up and be applied. I think that is too long for something that is meant to be done at home and although it says you can rub it between your hands, it didn't work for me. Last of all the product I found was a mess. So once you twist the product up and you've applied it to your brows, the product just keeps coming out. I'm not entirely sure on how I should be closing the tube - should I just place the cap on, or is there meant to be some other way? i did just try putting the cap on and that was a mess, because the next day the product had leaked onto the cap and it just created a mess.
Overall I don't think I would use it again, I had high expectations and they did not meet my standards I wanted. If you are a person who doesn't like tweezing then I guess you could try it rather than getting it done professionally but if you don't mind tweezing and your eyebrow hairs are minimal then I would just continue plucking.
Tips: definitely place it in hot water for it to soften up
This product has a lot of hype to go with it! No heat, easy application (and precise), use again and again and do it all yourself at home for salon results! So of course I was keen to give it a go, at least to get the pesky blonde hairs that seem to escape my regular shaping regime.
I thought that this product was ok - not over the moon good, but not a bad product either. The things that let it down were the formula and the wand. The formula was very thick and hard to easily spread on. I guess this is part of it being a no heat formula and maybe on a second try, I would heat the product a bit to warm it up for easier application. The second let down was the wand tip itself. It has been designed for precision around the eyebrows so you make no mistakes, but I found it to be a bit too wide. However it was more the consistency of the product that made the application via the wand rather difficult.
Now for the positives! It did do the job! However I had to get the tweezers out for VERY close to the brow line as it was hard to wax right up to. The cleansing wipes for before and afterwards smell AMAZING! And they get all the formula off very well. The strips are very standard but a good design and size to get the job done! The twisting notion of the wand is a nice touch instead of having to apply from a tub. This product would be really good to travel with so that is a big plus!
Overall, I would get this product as a travelling solution or if the price was right as an in between salon visits product. It was simple to use and mostly was a job well done.
Tips: Let the cleanser dry before applying the wax, otherwise it has a tendency to not stick to the skin. I would recommend warming the product up carefully too for easier application.
A product with promises I couldn't resist. Since taking on home self care waxing, this seemed ideal.
Packaging: A pen like tube with green wax inside. Visible the tip end has 1 opening for the wax to be dispersed & applied to the skin. Has a removal lid for when prodicts not in use.Comes with surrated edged cloth strip & prewar cleansing wipes. Instructions are to heat in the palm of your hand so that wax is mandible & prepped for use. Gel should he running & thin inconsistency. If this hasn't worked you can run under warm water. Effects : I found first time was trial & error. I hadn't heated the tube up enough so I had to reheat in my hands pretty simple. Upon application it does target the area of concern but also does have the tendency to over spread. The cloths are very useful but do shed however they adhere to the wax almost instantly. Making it easy to identify where the gel is. Then stripping is painless, I find I can go back over with the same strip to take any strays off. Hair does get removed almost effortlessly. I think it does good for the price you pay & it does lift up hair from the follicles. Non abrasive, just right for the sensitive eye and upper lip area. It is great for long hair but you do have to go in any tidy up afterward with tweezers, but they do this in salons so it's not a bad thing. I think perhaps my mentality was it'll be the end to the tweezing. That's an unrealistic thought. I did think with my first use getting to know the product I wasted a bit. But I'm in all happy with the product. So a good product that can do as it says.
Tips: Heat product in your hand to get the gel thin. If this fails heat under a running tap. Clean the area intended for treatment. Don't go to close to the brow line. Be prepared to still use tweezers and scissors to tidy up
It has been a very long time that I have done my own eye brows, but I through I would give this product ago!
Firstly I was quite shocked that you do not need to heat this was up, just twist it out of the tube and place on where you want hair removed. I would also say it's more gel like product rather than a wax, but still quite sticky to use. Placing the product on the areas you want is quite easy to do so, my tip if you are using this for the first time just work small areas at a time and don't twist to much out. This dose come with strips but not enough to use with the whole tube, which is a big down side but try and use them as much as you can to make the most of them.
I found this product ok to use but I would rather go back and have someone do it for me or go back to using a thicker wax product as I found that it did not take all of the hairs after each use. You have to go back quite a few times to get them all out and it can get quite painful.
I just wrote a review on this but the page clocked out & lost all the content that i had just wrote... here we go again...
The things i like about this product is the fact its a wand applicator! Also the gel formula i found was good and way better as you don't have to heat it up! Also the wax does not hurt when being pulled off!
The things i did not like about this product were that it pulled the skin when applying, also that it is a bit hit and miss getting a straight line so had to only go for the stray hairs around eye brows i wouldn't suggest this for shaping your eye brows!
I find this product would be a greatly used as an inbetween eye brow waxes as i just find it be more convenient to get them done and shaped my a pro but then this product would be able help you keep them tame for longer so very much on the fence on this product! 5/10
Tips: Dont wind the wand too much as the product will keep coming out.. rookie mistake made by me, the product took a wee while to come out therefore i keep turning it and turning it.. then the product kept coming out i had to shove the lid on it to stop it!
I was a bit disappointed with this product I have to say. It was extremely difficult to get the wax to apply in a nice easy gliding action even when I heated it under hot water, glad it had heaps of cloth strips because I used a whole heap just on my eyebrows! I would not recommend this product to people with no previous at home waxing experience, as I think they would find it quite difficult. I wont be using this product again on my eyebrows, but may use it on my upper lip.
Tips: I found I had to run it under the hot tap for 10 seconds between applications to get the wax to come out the right consistency.
I love this product I got it a few weeks ago and Its wonderful! I am always so scared to use small wax strips on my face and this wand makes it easy to only target the hair you want removed. Its quick and easy and doesnt leave pimples afterward. You dont need much wax at all so I can tell this product is going to last a long time!
Tips: rip it off as quick as you can so you get the best use of the wax
