Does exactly what it says and I like the precision. Great for also waxing the top of eyebrows to give a more defined shape. I would use this every 3 weeks or so to clean up all areas (especially down near the eye) and then would tweeze between times. I found to have redness after but that's to be expected. I am always short on time so tweezing is better for me as it doesn't show I have just done my eyebrows, but will now incorporate this product into my routine when I can! If you have never used wax at home before this would be a good starting product as it's hard to get it wrong!! In saying that I wouldn't use it to shape my eyebrows as it can be difficult to get a straight line but for tidying up other areas it works fine.

Tips: I always make sure I have clean skin. Apply the pre cleansing wax pads (provided in the box) Make sure you warm the tube A LOT!! in your hands to get the product to work easier - it says it doesn't need heating but I found it was easier overall to use the product. Always pull the skin tight, and when pulling the strip off pull either to the left or right (opposite direction to hair growth), never pull out and away from the face.
I've been meaning to try this product for some time, so thanks BR for letting me have a go. I really liked it for the most part.
The 'wand' itself is simple and ergonomic. It feels comfortable to use. I was a little worried clicking it up but the gel only came out very slowly so it was fine.
The gel is a bit thick but enough gets on after a couple of swipes, and the best part is it come off cleanly with the cotton strip. My skin was fine afterwards, and I just washed as i would normally do.
Next time I might try warming it up a little, to see if it makes a difference to how easily the gel dispenses, but otherwise I have no complaints about this product.
I found this great in pen form to what i usually use (wax strips) and had much better precision, like most people had to heat up slightly, usually on a strip I can just rub it between my fingers which is enough to heat the wax but with this I ran under some hot water, a bit of a process but not a deal breaker. I do like how you have more control on how much product you use, where in the past I sometimes feel wasteful using a whole strip When it's not all needed. Over all a good performer.
I'm always looking for "the easy way" with products something that makes those dreaded jobs faster and more effortless much like a dishwasher for doing dishes! So this wand promises to be easier. I already use the Nads bikini wax for my eyebrows but heating the wax up takes what feels like forever, warm it in boiling water then heat it in the microwave.
This says I just have to twist the bottom of the applicator, apply the wax, apply the strip, remove the strip and done, haha really you say? It can't be THAT easy? Yep well that's it in a nutshell it is THAT easy.
First you have to cleanse your brows with the cleansing wipes provided and make sure they are completely dry before you proceed.
The applicator is about the size of a tube of mascara so it's easy to hold and control which I love because I really don't think I would rock the half a missing eyebrow look. You just twist the bottom of the wand and out comes the green wax. It is a wee bit tricky applying the wax because it's quite thick but I think the trick to it is only use it in one swipe rather than moving it around too much.
You then apply the strip and pull the strip in the opposite direction to the hair growth and done, It's painless and very fast. It's also really effective too I had less tweezing to do afterwards to tidy up the strays. I really, really love this and will repurchase again it is so easy.
Thought I would change up my usual facial hair removal product and give this one a go. However, there is a reason I stick to my 'usual'. It looked simple and easy to use on the packaging and read the instructions. I found though that this product didn't really work. Tried it on my brows and it appeared to stick to the hairs really well but upon removal didn't get it all out. Also tried it on upper lip area and it didn't remove any hairs at all. Gave up on this product and went got brows and upper lip done by a beautician. Thought i'd save money by doing an at home job and just ended up costing more.
I brought this with expectations that I could achieve an eyebrow wax at home, my expectations couldn’t have been more wrong.
The product comes in a wand style with the wax visible inside. The wax inside is green and resembles gel. To dispense the product you twist the wand up to get the gel out. No heating required apparently but not the case. i struggled to get the product up following their instructions.
I found this very difficult to spread across the skin, and it seemed to get everywhere on my face apart from my eyebrow hairs. I achieved no hair removal and felt defected.
I think this has the potential to be a really good product but the formula just didn’t work for me.
This product did not work well for me. I found it hard to even get it out of the wee tube. It did not remove any hair at all and just made a hell of a mess. So disappointed!
I brought this from the chemist for a fairly decent price thinking it would be great, as my usual wax I use for my eyebrows was almost out. Instead it was a sticky and almost runny mess, I followed the instructions exactly but in the end I didn't even manage to remove any stray hairs at all and had to use tweezers to do the whole job instead. The applicator thing wasn't great, overall it was just a waste of time and money.
This nifty little wand is a staple in my bathroom. The price is worth two salon treatments, and I find I can use it at least 5 times if not more. It takes a little longer to do than the mall beauty shops, but if you take into account the travel and then having to walk through the mall with pink marks around your forehead its worth keeping in the bathroom drawer. I find that it works best if its left in a cup of boiling water for about 5 minutes before applying, as it sticks better to finer hairs that way. The cotton strips are re-usable, and come clean in just warm water, if you leave them to dry on the sink you can just stash the set back in the drawer for then next round. Like the salon treatment you still need to use tweezers for the perfect look, but this is a great timesaver and easy to apply with the shaped applicator head, and there is no wastage due to the click winder.
Tips: Warm it up in some hot water for the best results!
For a first time user of something like this I found it quite easy. It's a handy little applicator which is slightly angled to spread the wax well.
Have to be patient with it though otherwise you end up with too much wax coming out. Tends to be a bit too thick, found rubbing it between my hands for 30 seconds or so helped soften it up. Sticks very well so be careful not to get it on any hairs you don't want removed!
Comes off cleanly and doesn't cause much irritation, any excess simply wipes off with a damp cloth.
