These were the first facial wax strips I have used, I used it on my upper lip, did a reasonable job, there were some hairs left after the first application, but with repeated tries it was all gone.

Tips: Important to prepare your skin first with a warm flannel or cloth, otherwise if you have sensitive skin, can cause redness.
I've been using these for quite a few years now. I love that they aren't tested on animals.
You get 24 strips in the box and I only use 2 strips for my upper lip therefore this product last me a long time as I don't use it on any other areas.
I always exfoliate before waxing with my lip scrub that i have but you can use any product for that.
Firstly i warm the strip up by gently rubbing it between my hands and then press it down firmly on my upper lip. I do find that the strips don't 'mold' to the shape of my upper lip but that doesn't bother me too much. I leave it on for maybe one minute, hold my skin taught and quickly pull the strip off in the opposite direction to my hair growth.
I find that one strip takes off around 80-90% of the hair and the second strip removes the rest.
I don't have any issues with redness or swelling afterwards but that result would depend on the sensitivity of your skin. If you do though, simply rub on some aloe vera gel afterwards which is fantastic for soothing red, itchy, swollen skin.
When I first started using these, I found them difficult and always ended up with a big mess of left over wax on my lip. However like everything.....practice makes perfect and I now have no issues what so ever. If I have any wax left on my lip, I find that it washes off easily with some soap and water.
Overall I am satisfied with this product and only need to use it around every 3-4 weeks. Would highly recommend it.
Tips: Always exfoliate before waxing. I actually use a lip scrub to exfoliate my upper lip beforehand.
I use this product to wax my upper lip and in between my eyebrows and its really good! It is really simple to use and gets a lot of those little fine hairs. I found it tricky to use on my eyebrows because the strips are a little bit to big. The only down side is that (this could just be me) But i found that a couple of days after using it I get pimples where I have used the product. Over all though really good product! Its the best one I found at the supermarket and it doesnt cost and arm and a leg.
Tips: Just rip it off straight away the longer you hesitate for the harder its going to get to yank it off!
I found the Nad's facial wax strips were great for removing the hair on my upper lip but terrible for my eyebrows as they were to big so would either remove to much or not enough and in a terrible shape. I would warm it up by rubbing it between my hands and give it a few seconds to stick to each hair then rip it off against the hair nice and quickly it was also relativity painless well as painless as waxing can be. The came with oli wipes to help remove excess was from the face as i found it left a small amount of wax on the face.
Tips: I cut them in half as i found they were too long
I liked this product. Easy to use and very affordable . I really found these strips perfect! Nice size for the upper lip.
These strips really work well. I found that it had amazing grip and when pulled correctly it doesnt break the hairs off or anything. The aftercare wipe was amazing too as i always get bumps and a breakout after waxing. The only downside is that the strip is not transparent and so it makes it hard to see when doing eyebrows that your placement is exactly right. BUT OVERALL a wonderful product
Tips: follow the hair growth and make sure you face is clean before using
Won this along with a few other Nad's products. I have a lot of facial hair and these facial wax strips seemed to do the job. Very easy to use, removes hair easily and doesn't leave a sticky residue on your skin.
I have peach fuzz that annoys the bejeebers out of me. I tried shaving it once after seeing youtube tutorials about it being good and it won't grow back stubbly. All lies I tell you! It grew back thick and dark eewww! I am embarrassed by this but this calls for honesty and that is what I shall do. I thought I would try my hand at DIY wax with Nad's Facial Wax Strips after reading about them on the Nad's website and liking what they promised. No more shaving for me hopefully!
It comes with double sided wax strips which have an almost cloth feel. They mold easily to my face without being uncomfortable. I warm the strips between my hands peel them apart. The strips themselves are conveniently sized to fit in the smaller areas and if they are too big I just cut them to size. I apply the strip to my upper lip and press on firmly. I pull the skin tight and give it the band aid treatment by pulling fast to minimize any pain that might come with it. I needn't worry about pain, my threshold is quite high so I didn't feel much other than a quick burning sensation.
The wax which is green is left behind after pulling it off which is annoying. I try to reapply the strip and pull off excess wax. I find that the thick short hairs are sometimes left behind but the finer hairs are pulled out. I remedy this by letting it grow a little bit longer and then waxing. It works!
After two weeks of being hair free I can see fine hairs are starting to show their heads which is quite impressive. I can handle two weeks. The only thing I didn't like is the red mark it left on my upper lip which lasted a day. If I am going to do this I do it at least 24 hours before I need to go anywhere so I don't look like I have scrub on my top lip eeww. I use the aftercare wipes that are included in the pack to wipe off excess wax and to also soothe the area after I rip the strip off. I found that using these wipes actually made the red mark flare up more so stick to using my sensitive skin wipes and it seems to lessen the red mark a bit. It's a great at home remedy to those small embarrassing areas women often have. Fast and effective!
Tips: Moisturise after use to minimize any irritation
I have used this product a few times on upper lip removal. Does a good job with the hair but does leave a sticky residue around the outer edges. It's okay as far as wax strips go but not my favourite. I would recommend using these up quickly as they get a bit mushy and weird after a while.
This was the first product I ever used for my upper lip and I did really think it worked but I have naturally strong hairs and so some areas didn't work as well as others but overall a really good prosuct
