Tips: Make sure skin is properly prepped.
I like the fact that you can warm these little strips up fast, but you also have to be speedy to apply them otherwise you won't get the best results. If they aren't hot enough the wax will stick to your face and leave a mess, which is hard to get off.
They do last a reasonable amount of time, although I find them quite pricey.
I think if i was to find something cheaper and as effective I would lean towards another product.
Tips: Maybe try cutting them to the length and shape for the perfect size, this will also save you money.
Wax strips? Not a bad idea... Although my facial hair is not really obvious... It does grow quite a bit on the sides of my face and funnily, also on my ears, which can be visible when the sunlight strikes the right spot. I was always worried if i plucked at it too much, whether it will grow thicker and darker.
This is when these strips came in handy... although it doesn’t cover a very large surface area of the face, it was enough to get rid of the side hairs.
The green apple coloured wax was a little stickier and harder than i first imagined it to be... I usually have cold hands, so it took an extra effort for me to rub and warm up the wax strips for use.. However, the consistency of the wax makes it a nice and gentle wax, which works quite well for the fine thin hairs, but not so much on the thicker.
I must say.. It wasn’t really fun trying to wash off the little residue of the wax left sticking to my hair or on my face, as it can be difficult to wash off without accidently pulling your hair.. which does tend to hurt a bit.
Despite this, the product smells natural and fresh.
Tips: Try not to go too close to the thicker hair when waxing your facial hair.. it’s ouch when trying to grt rid of the wax
I often use facial/small prepacked wax strips but personally found these to be alot more harsh on my skin then other brands. The wax seems harder then others ive used an also took alot of self generated heat just to peal. It did remove the majority of the hair but did still leave more then other wax strips ive used at the sides of the wax strip. I did enjoy the scent and do enjoy nads products but found these to not be something id use again
The first facial wax strips I've used on my upper lip. My skin was red and irritated for a long time and I had to go over the area again as it didn't get it all off. It leaves behind a sticky residue which needs to be wiped off. My upper lip hair grew back in fairly quickly. I'm not going to use this product again in the future unless there's nothing else.
I liked the way the strips were easy to warm and apply, but I found it difficult to get the strip to fit to my top lip ('spose I should've cut it). I had to redo some parts. Yes, it did what it said but I just didn't love it. Found my skin had a break out a day or two later.
I used this before a wedding I had to go to and this was the worst decision ever. You have to rub the strips between your hands to soften the wax and then this is applied. I feel that this does not fully heat the wax even after doing this for several minutes. When taken off I found that I had a lot of hair that wasn't removed and they tell us not to use it on the same area again so there was no way to remove this hair. I also found I got a reaction to this and a wax burn where by skin became scabbed as a layer of my skin peeled off. I would not use this again, its not worth the risk of getting scabs at my upper lip again it was very unappealing.
I used these once and never again. the wax is hear impossible to heat up had to hold i.t under a light. its sticky and messy and you get some on other hairs it just doesnt seem to come off
Ive used this product before on my upper lip, it seemed to remove the hair well but it left a sticky residue that takes a lot of work to get off and also as i have sensitive skin my skin reacted to it and broke out it a rash.
I tried this product out because I couldn't seem to find the one I usually use. It does the job but i find that it isn't strong enough to remove all remaining hairs, especially small, short ones. I do like the weave paper instead of the plastic, it is a little more comfortable but would still recommend trying another brand
