Schick Hydro Silk Razor Review

this is magic. Love how it keeps my skin smooth and very easy to use. Razor is very safe to use. you don't need sope or shaving gel. just wayer live it...great product

I grabbed this at Countdown for $11.50 which I think is a great price, it comes with the blade attached and a spare one. I couldn't wait to try this out after hearing lost of great things.....wow it is amazing! I don't use any body wash just wet the razor and off I go! Makes my legs literally feel like a babys bum and is so quick and easy to do. I have issues with cutting myself around my knee area and my ankle, no nicks at all with this. Love it so much I won't use anything else, comes with a great wee holder to stick to the shower wall which is handy. Definately recommend all ladies should try this. I am very impressed and love the feeling of silky smooth legs.

I absolutely love this razor. I usually have a terrible habit of snatching some skin when I shave, but not with this razor. It's amazing. I'm usually terrified of shaving as I used to use the really cheap razors and they would leave me with various cuts, along with dry skin. I then tried this razor and I haven't used anything else since.

I got this razor in a giveaway bag during an event. Initially I was really reluctant to use it due to bad experiences with razors from other brands. But now that we're going into summer I really had no choice. The first place I tried it on was my underarms, which I haven't shaved over winter at all. The razor is very easy to use and shaves very well. It gives a closer shaves compared to other razors. But what really surprised me was how well the water-activating moisturizing serum works. I didn't get any shaving rash and my underarms were not dry, itch or irritated after shaving. Previously even if I used shaving foam on the area, it would still be irritated. So how well this razor worked was a definite surprise to me. I will definitely continue to use this razor, and would definitely recommend it to others.

This has been my go to razor for many years now.

It comes with a replacement blade and holder. The razor has five blades which means a closer shave and it will last a long long time before you need to replace the blade. It has a moisturising strip which is fantastic at helping the razor to glide along your skin. I haven't cut myself with this either which is great! The handle has a grip on it to help with steady shaving.

It's also cheap compared to other razors so is fantastic value for money.

Overall I am 100% happy with this product and would highly recommend it.

This is the only razor I've used for probably the past 2-3 years. I love that it has 5 blades for a close shave meaning that I get longer out of one shave. Also it has moisturizing serum which makes shaving a breeze and reduces razor burn. The blades stay sharp for quite sometime and it comes with a back up and a shower holder. The handle is really good to its like a silicone material so it doesn't become slippery and a pain to use. The blades are very sharp, probably the sharpest I've used, so of course be careful around the contours of your legs. I wouldn't recommend this for shaving beginners.

Easy to grip handle with and amazing 5 blades for an extra close shave without irritation. This is my personal favorite razor. One sweep and I am left with super smooth skin, added bonus of gliding over my knees I have never had a nick yet. With the added bonus of the moisturizing serum its never an issue if I am running late and don't have time to moisturize after my shower.

I actually love this product, the design and shape of this razor is easy to grip and hold. I used a shaving foam wth this and it left my legs smooth for about 4-5 days before prickles began to appear. I love how the moisturising bar allows my legs to stay silky soft and it means I don't need to apply moisturiser if I am in a hurry. I really like this razor as its affordable and can be purchased from any supermarket and the blades last longer compared to cheaper disposals. Highly recommended to all.

Paired with a good shaving gel, works amazingly! But you need to be able to take your time else it is a total flop! One day, I used my husband's shaving gel and had about 10 minutes to shave my legs and they were silky smooth. Few days later, I only had about 2 minutes to quickly go over my legs and was a total fail! Although that could be down to my lack of skill...

Only issue I had was the moisturising bars disintegrated far too quickly for my liking, and we all know how expensive replacement blades are!

I really like this razor, I like the design with the handle being easy to grip. It makes for an effortless shave because it glides so smoothly. I've never nicked my legs or underarms with this razor either because it just glides so effortlessly. The blades last a really long time before needing to be replaced too which is a huge bonus.

I will continue to use this razor for a long time to come as I see no reason to reach for another razor after using this for the past year it's fair to say I'm pretty happy.
