I bought this thinking it would be a good option as I was living out of a bag a lot and thought it would save needing shaving gel. Although this is true I found the bulkyness of the head meant it was difficult getting round knees and ankles etc. On the flatter surfaces it worked okay but still found it cumbersome. I also found the soap surround ran out too fast

I always wished that a shave blade would come with the soap attached, I struggled in my small shower with soap/shave foam always washing off before I got to shave, annoyed me so much. This is pure genius for me, the soap is pleasant, moisterising and best of all no need for shave foam or soap before hand.
As I shave my legs every day this blade with soap deals to it nicely however I don't think it would be ideal for more delicate areas & around tight turns ;-).
Unit looks big (which it is compared to other shavers) however is super light and has a great shaped handle.
I give it a big thumps up & have now saved myself a good chunk of shower time. Bit pricey ($15.00 for unit & 2 blades) however I would keep an eye out for specials (especially at Countdown) and I will defentially continue using it due to how easy & quick it is.
Tips: Agree with many other reviews that keeping the cover off will stop the soap breaking down too fast.
I love schick womens razors and usually use the hydro but decided to give this a whirl. It was on special for $12. It is a beast of a razor lol so big and comes with 2 blades and a holder for in the shower.
I like the idea of the built in lather and when I saw coconut and almond oil it sounded amazing. However I found this just too tricky to use. Especially around my ankles and knee area. It did not do a good job. I have petite hands and it is just too massive for me. I must have dropped it at least 20 times and for me that is not a good razor.
I switched back to my schick hydro and it is a million times better. Am glad I tried it but just not suited for me.
I still use this even though it has been out for years. There is a different range of aromas and I like them all. The formula is moisturising and the ergonomic design makes it easy and fast to use. I also find I don't get any nicks when I use this one.
The only negative I can find with this product is the price for the replacement heads. It's a bit costly (to me) so I usually reach for these when I see them on special.
This razor is still on my list of must have bathroom favourites. Ok, the size of it is bigger than your usual razors.. but it’s really not that bad. It’s just so convenient not having to purchase extra shaving creams anymore... What’s not to love about moisture and shave ‘2 in 1’?
Yes, you do have to repurchase razor head refills, but one razor head actually lasts for a very long time. I’ve been using this razor for years now with the pomegranate razor head.. which i really enjoyed using. But since the refills are all interchangeable, i thought i’ll give this coconut and almond oil refill a go.
I love the subtle sweet and creamy coconutty scent... and like the pomegranate razor head, it doesn’t nick your skin even if you shave over the same spot twice.
Overall, my skin didn’t feel as smooth as it did compared to using the pomegranate razor head, but it still does deliver a nice, smooth shave.
I would continue to use this razor for as long as i could ;D
Tips: Store the razor in a nice dry place after using for longer lasting razor heads.. to prevent the moisturising solid around the razor to soften like your bar of soaps.
This is a huge razor and in the box it reminded me more of the electronic lady shaver I got in high school. But it caught my curious beauty shopping eye, so I gave it a whirl.
The idea is clever in that you don't need to lather the area before you shave. But I personally prefer to because it gives a smoother shave if you do.
With the solid soap around the blade, it acts a bit like a guard and I think it helps prevents nicks, but sometimes it also means you have to go over an area twice. However because it feels like it's a gentler way for me to shave, so far I'm sticking with it. But at the end of the day it's only marginally gentler than other razors.
Love this, so easy to use in the shower snd so much quicker than using shaving foam and razor. Leaves my skin moisturized too
I like the idea of this in theory - but less so in practice. The razor overall is huge so it takes up half your toiletries bag when going away. I appreciate the moisturising lather combo but find I very hard to use anywhere other than the straight tops of my legs. I think this is the razor I've nicked myself the most with. And the soap get used up way before the razor is blunt which kind of defeats the purpose. I prefer the consistency of my safety razor.
The most annoying razor in history. Yes, you would think having shaving cream attached would be good. But the cream breaks away and you're just left with a very basic razor that it's great.
Love this product fast easy way to shave legs with the best feeling after. the shaver left my legs smooth and soft feeling as though they had just had a full moisture massage. Shaver gave a clean smooth shave. The coconut and almond oil smells amazing and even leaves legs smelling nice after drying. Only down side once wet the soap surrounding the blades goes well before the blades need changed.
Tips: Best to dry as much as possible to prevent the soap break down making it last longer.
