I just love this coconut milk one it smells Devine while leaving my legs feeling smooth and soft love how as always you just wet your legs and away you go, I just find they tend to wear down after one round of shaving your legs and then you have to change the cartridge before the blades have had a chance to wear down so there for costing me quite a bit for new blades I tend to buy a whole new pack rather than just the blades alone tends to work out cheaper for me in the long run

Tips: Maybe use lightly and the soap around the blades might last longer for you
I absolutely love this razor. I love that I don't need to apply any gel/soap before shaving, it is so convenient. I find in my small shower box, shave els/soap would wash off before I got to actually shave the area so this is idea. However, I hate that the mositurising solid melts away SO quickly. I go through a razor catridge much quicker than I need to so end up using the razor with shave gel near the end. I also dont like how bulky it is, an absolute pain in the butt for travel!
Tips: Keep away from the water or the solid will melt away too quickly. Not travel friendly (stays really wet and goopy, plus its too big!)
It was really easy to use, left my legs feeling so soft and hydrated, it's not as travel friendly because it's abit chucky, but the soap bar smelt amazing, although I found it extremely hard to clean the razor and the soap bar does run out quickly
I absolutely love this razor, it is so soft and leaves your skin feeling amazing. The only draw back is when the solid surrounding moisturising bar gets low, the plastic can be annoying. It tends to wear down on an angle so of course you want to use it all up to get moneys worth. It isn't the cheapest razor but I definitely love it!
I have used other schick razors with the moisturing strip and found this one did lather up alot more than the other ones i have tried, i did have to go over my legs a few times as there was alot of lather, but it did give a close shave and i didn't nick my knees as i have a tendancy to cut my self there, afterwards my legs felt really smooth and moisturised, i liked it and would use again it.
Tips: i found it easier to shave my legs while showering.
I have used the other razors in this range, and must say that it is much improved. It is a really good close shave and is much more moisturising. If you have dry skin , you'll still need to moisturise on top of this, but generally your skin doesn't feel all dry and scaly , like it does when you usually shave. It smelt nice too. One thing I find frustrating about these, is that the top part of the bar/soap doesn't get used much, but the bottom part wears down quickly.
I normally only use a razor on my underarms, for my legs I've been using an epilator for years and any hair that does still grow is sparse and fine.
I always tend to use a shaving system for my underarms as I find the blades give a closer shave. I was very excited to trial this particular Schick razor as I haven't used one with a solid surrounding soap/moisture strip.
First off - the razor is easy to assemble, the head simply clicks on to the handle and if you want to remove it, you just squeeze the two side buttons. The handle is a good size, easy and comfortable to hold and a bit less fiddly than the narrow stick of a disposable razor.
It comes with a little holder that you can attach to your shower wall by suction cup and a lid, I guess to keep the razor out of the water when you're not using it. (Nothing worse than a razor gone rusty!)
It felt very alien not using shaving cream, but following the instructions to "gently press down on to wet skin" worked fine! The razor glided smoothly and left a great hairless finish.
My only gripe with this razor is that the size of the head with the soap/moisture surround makes it feel quite bulky to use, you'll have to take it slow and be diligent to shave places like your knee caps and ankles.
All in all though, I liked this razor and would use it again, and would definitely try another Schick system to see if I prefer the less bulky Hydro Silk.
Tips: It's not as easy as a Venus to rinse the build up of hair from the razor head, so after use I would remove the head, turn it upside down and run fast water through the blades to get rid of the fuzzies!
I am so thankful to be given the opportunity to trial this. I normally just use the cheap Bic disposable ones, but it was nice to have the chance to try something more upmarket for a change. The first thing I noticed was how massive it was and thought it might be a bit hard to manoeuvre, but the handle is easy to grip onto and it doesn’t feel uncomfortable in my hands. The smell of the shaving bar is delicious and really does make skin feel smooth and soft. I had no problems with getting any nicks and found it to give a smooth and close shave. I do agree with other people that it seems to be running down quite quickly. I’ll probably end up getting maybe 10 shaves with it which does make it quite expensive, but it really does work and I would be happy to repurchase this product.
Tips: Use the holder it comes with for easy storage and to keep it dry so it doesn't run out so fast.
What a great razor. I really enjoyed using it. No need for bodywash or soap. The hydrating bar really protects the skin for a silky smooth shave. The only downside was it didnt seem to last quite as long as my normal Venus razor. One onset of goosebumps and I was back to feeling prickly, but as far as a quick smooth shave goes, this is truly a great razor and I will continue using it.
Tips: Be careful how you store the razor after you use it. The hydrating bar will quickly disappear if you leave it in any kind of water.
Love the concept, and gives an awesome shave. However, i found that the soap wears down REALLY fast making them quite expensive to use.
Tips: Don't leave them where they can get wet or you will lose all the soap part!
