Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment Review

While initially this seemed great - my skin was moisturised, and hair free - I found that the moisturising solid seems to disappear much faster than I have experienced with other razors, long before the blades show any sign of going dull. Essentially this means that I found the moisturising block a bit redundant, as it didn't last anywhere near as long as the life of my razor.

This razor is still on my list of must have bathroom favourites. Ok, the size of it is bigger than your usual razors.. but it’s really not that bad. It’s just so convenient not having to purchase extra shaving creams anymore... What’s not to love about moisture and shave ‘2 in 1’?

Yes, you do have to repurchase razor head refills, but one razor head actually lasts for a very long time. I’ve been using this razor for years now with the pomegranate razor head.. which i really enjoyed using. But since the refills are all interchangeable, i thought i’ll give this coconut and almond oil refill a go.

I love the subtle sweet and creamy coconutty scent... and like the pomegranate razor head, it doesn’t nick your skin even if you shave over the same spot twice.

Overall, my skin didn’t feel as smooth as it did compared to using the pomegranate razor head, but it still does deliver a nice, smooth shave.

I would continue to use this razor for as long as i could ;D

This is perfect if you're pretty new to shaving and is terrified at the idea of running razor blades across your skin. It is pretty moisturising after shaving due to the moisture bars, and takes the hassle out of needing a shaving gel.

The thing I don't like about it is that it's so huge, and there's no razor blade cover, so I have accidentally cut my fingers on the blades before.

I use this shaver a lot and really like the results. The moisturising block is great and smell nice too but is really big and bulky. Also it runs out quick! and hairs always get stuck in the blades which is a pain!. Its easy to use though, and leaves your legs silky smooth. Never had a problem with nicks or cuts, glides over the skin like a dream. I wouldn't say that it lathers though, more of a sleek feeling.

I tried this product when it was first introduced and really tried to make it work for me but it didnt quite do the trick.. i found it to be too hard to handle because of the big thick soap like block around the razor, also it sometimes gets in the way of a close shave..i also found that i got cut way too easily on the blades without actually knowing it until i rinsed and saw a bit of blood from the nicks... i would say unless you shave your legs when you have time and can handle the precision it takes then go for it... other than that.. i probably personally will not buy this product again because besides the block getting in the way when it is finished the blade needs to be discarded and considering they arent exactly the cheapest blades , i think it works out to be too much...probably wont recommend to be honest.. although their other razors are pretty good, dont think this one was their best..

Normally I use mens razors as I believe that they do a better job, however being a busy single mum of 3 I need to save time whenever possible. And that is how I came to love schick intuition - it takes me all of 5 minutes (if that) to do legs and underarms in the shower, my skin is left feeling smooth and soft and I can even forgo the morning body lotion!!!!

When this came into stores I had to give this a go, such a great idea incorporating the soap within the razor. I thought yay, i don't need shaving cream or body wash! However, in practise this didn't work for me. The razor and moisturising soap block is just too clunky! in order to manoeuvre it to shave your legs properly was a mission, especially around the knees. I also ended up getting a few cuts, so not a fan of this. I much prefer a plain shaving system.

I love this one because of the moisture bar attached to it! It makes shaving so easy and doesn't leave you shaved areas dry. The only thing is that the razors are so close together that hairs get stuck easy if you don't give it a proper clean, and the bar runs out quickly.

I absolutely love this razor, it is so soft and leaves your skin feeling amazing. The only draw back is when the solid surrounding moisturising bar gets low, the plastic can be annoying. It tends to wear down on an angle so of course you want to use it all up to get moneys worth. It isn't the cheapest razor but I definitely love it!

Best shaver I have ever used, have used it since it came out a few+ yrs ago and have never looked back. Only downside is the price but totally worth it esp when it's on sale.
