I absolutely hated these surfboards. I know after having two babies you NEED something you can trust and these are just not good. NO wings makes them move and thats just a BIG NO NO when your a bleeding that heavily after a baby. I feel like they bunched up aswell just from walking around! Felt horrible between my legs and didnt seem to absorb much either. Would never use again and i dont recommend them to my other mummas either!

I found these to be so uncomfortable to wear and with no wings they seemed to bunch up Libra definatly have and advantage
My midwife reccomended i buy super pads with wings instead of maternity as its just a label to add a few dollars on, well i got a pack of these at my baby shower and i totally agree with my midwife! I 100% would reccomend a budget packet of super pads over these! It felt like i was wearing a nappy as it bunched up and moved quite alot i really didnt like them! However they did do the job and didnt leak.
I tried these when I had my daughter, and because I had tearing and a very heavy flow they leaked a lot! I also found that because I'm a bigger girl they bunched and shifted a lot. They could really use some wings! :)
I'm a heavy bleeder when it comes to my menstral cycle so I like to be fully protected for with out any leakages while I sleep, but I still had to double up on pads during the day and double up at night with 3-4 changes during the night or I will have leaked.. I like Libra maternity if you ask me full coverage and extra absorption
Tips: Double up if heavy bleeder.
I found these similar to ye old surf board types our mothers bought us at the first period. I was aware of them there and felt insecure without the security of wings! I would use again because they are given free by the hospital but otherwise I buy a different brand once at home!
The hospitals give you these after birthing. They are ok, do absorb well but don't have wings which I just don't understand. To be honest I found the night pads better as they have wings & are usually cheaper.
I recently gave birth to a baby in July and pre purchased these as a stable for my maternity bag. I found these to be effective with for soaking up the flow of the post partum bleeding. But unfortunately I found them to be very thick and uncomfortable. I found them to be extremely bulky and very noticeable under my clothing. I also didn’t like that they weren’t individually sealed in packets so once you opened the outage package they did not seem sterile anymore. The pricing for these was reasonable but I ended up going for the more thinner option in the end.
Tips: Don’t buy in bulk prior to having baby. Try a few options before you purchase more.
I did find these useful for applying to my c section once the dressing was removed to avoid rubbing on my pants and underwear.
I purchased these for my hospital maternity bag but didn't end up using them until I returned home from giving birth as the hospital supplied some. These were the only option for maternity pads available at my local supermaket.
The pads aren't individually wrapped so once you open the pack they are exposed to the air. They are long white pads without wings. They have lots of padding and a adhesive bottom for sticking to underwear.
Unfortunately I found them very thick and uncomfortable to wear. They also irritated my skin so not sure if I would recommend them for sensitive skin types. These issues above were frustrating as they did an excellent job at absorbing post partum bleeding but I ended up switching to regular pads during the day for comfort.
I would probably only recommend these for night time use as they are bulky.
Tips: Ideal for night time use as super absorbent.
I Absolutly hated these, felt like I had a surf board between my legs and they were so inconforable. Not to mention they didn't stick very well so they always moves and the stuff inside them bunched up which was quite yucky.
