I decided to try this deodorant because it was a natural and aluminium-free alternative, and I wanted to see how it measured up against my usual dove deodorant. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the Tea Tree smell, but you do get used to it and begin to love it after a while. All in all its a good deodorant, doesn't leave white marks and works pretty good, but I don't think its that much better than a normal deodorant.

I bought this product after having it recommended to me. I have quite sensitive skin that reacts badly to certain products, but glad to say that the Tea Tree Deodorant didn’t give me so much as a red patch.
For nearly $9 you could do a lot worse. It’s not a huge bottle either but it does come in nice packaging and is labelled clearly.
It’s got quite a strong smell, in my opinion, which I wouldn’t describe as unpleasant, but it’s not exactly Sweet Like Candy by Ari, y’know?
Overall it’s a good product, nice and natural, but I wouldn’t buy it again as it didn’t wow me.
My mum use to buy this for me because of the 'no aluminum'. It was just your normal deoderant. I found the smell of tea tree over powering though. But if you love that smell youll love this one! also. But nothing special for me and have others i prefer. also for me i prefer an anti persperant over a deodorant but each to their own :)
Tips: I never had any irritation after shaving or waxing so its safe :)
Doesn't work as well as I wanted it to (aluminium free?! YES), and it does give off a strong tea-tree smell. Maybe if I wasn't in the tropics it would be ok.
I probably should have known better as tea tree is quite harsh but ow! This made my underarms sting. While I think it does work pretty effectively at combating sweat, I probably won't use it again but it seems like it doesn't agree with my skin. It smells really strong as well. I found I wasn't able to wear perfumes as I essentially just smelt of tea tree.
I bought this deodorant from Countdown for $5.49 on special. I was interested to try it as I’m aware of what a good ingredient Tea Tree is, and I like the idea of using a deodorant that is aluminium free.
It comes in a bog standard roll on bottle and has the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree branding. So the first thing that happens when you unscrew the lid is the smell – yikes – it’s pretty strong and not entirely pleasant. Then you roll it on and it’s quite watery and takes a minute or two to dry. But then you’re off.
I’ve been using it for a while now and find it works very well. No sweating during the day at all, but when I get hot I can smell the deodorant. No staining on clothing either.
I will finish the bottle I have, but I probably won’t repurchase, as I’m strongly guided by scent when buying products and sadly the scent of Tea Tree is a bit hard to live with. I recommend it to anyone who doesn’t mind the smell though, as apart from that, it’s a good product.
I ran out of my deodorant and searched for a new replacement. I've had this on my wish list since last year . For roll ons I'm looking for protection from body odour all day long. I haven't found one I like yet.
This comes in a roll on bottle. Has the Thursday Plantation labelling. I found the lid much easier to turn than any other roll ons I've used. The consistency is a clear fluid. The scent of it is strong like herbal green tea. At first I didn't like it but it's growing on me.
I put this on every morning before I start my day. I sweat more in the warmer months than colder. A full 8 hour day I was protected from sweat. First time that's ever happened.
At the time I got mine for $5 dollars at Pak n Save. It is priced more than other deodorants. I would pay that price for it.I would like to see an improvement in the scent of it.
Purchased this the other and applied after shower/shaving. Product stings alot for a few seconds and at first it smelt like mould but scent develops more pleasantly later on. Product does last most of the day but does not stop sweating and once it mixes with sweat, the smell is not great. Will not be buying again.
Tips: Wait until dry before dressing
My dad uses this religiously so when I decided to try and use predominately natural based products I turned to this as it can be easily brought in supermarket opposed to a specialty store.
Unfortunately it is only really good to causal stay around home days for me. If I wear it to work I start getting wet arm pits and odor.
In fairness to the product this could be down to two things
1. It takes a long time to dry and I usually put a top on before it dries
2. Some conventional deodorants either don't work for me or stop working.
For now I will keep searching for that natural deodorant that works for me!
The first thing I want to say is if you don't like the smell of tea tree, this product isn't for you. It has a very strong tea tree smell, which I personally love, so it's great for me. I always keep this in my bathroom, I have used it for years. It definitely keeps you smelling fresh and odourless. The one down fall is it isn't the best at keeping you dry. I have found my armpits to still sweat, not overly but they don't stay dry. That being said, they're still odour free and keep that lovely tea tree smell. It doesn't sting when applied after shaving, and I love Thursday plantation and how they utilise tea tree. So this product is a winner for me.
