I decided to treat myself and purchase this item. It's alot more expensive then I would normally pay which puts me off buying again. I like the different shades of pink and the easy of instructions. The cream is very thick, and easy to apply the the little sponge provided with it. I found it difficult to get use putting on dry skin and often forgot until was in shower. The cream is easy to remove with the white side of the sponge. surprisingly it removed the hairs extremely well and unlike other veet products did not react badly with my sensitive skin. over all love the product

Tips: Only use a thin layer
I use this one and it works well for me, I only leave on for 3 mintues. because in the past I have burnt myself leaving on for any longer. Usually gets most hair off, if not it easily comes off with tweezers. Also to note it smells nasty. I only use because I dont know which else would be better.?
Tips: Dont leave on for too long, wash off if you feel the burn. not good for large areas.
I bought this because after shaving my legs for years, I wanted to try a non-shaving form of hair removal. This review is for the “Sensitive skin” edition.
The cream comes in a 150ml plastic tube which stands on its head. It is accompanied by an oval-shaped sponge which is soft on one side and firmer on the other. Both are packaged together in a clear plastic case against a cardboard backing on which there are printed instructions. The cream itself is white.
The cream is easy to squeeze out of the tube. The instructions say to use the soft side of the sponge to apply the cream to dry skin. The cream is to be left on for 5 minutes, although they say you can get into the shower after 2 minutes as long as you do not get your legs directly in the water stream. After 5 minutes you are to use the firmer side of the sponge to massage away the hair.
I found that this worked okay, although there were some patches where hair was not removed. Perhaps I did not apply it thickly enough. I did not find the sponge effective at all for sloughing off the removed hair. The cream also has a terrible chemical smell to it. The cream did wash off easily in the shower though, and where the hair did come off well my skin was left feeling very smooth.
Altogether this was quite fiddly, and not as straightforward as shaving, even if it does leave a smoother finish.
Its definitely not one of the greatest hair remover products out there but for the price it does what its supposed to do.
The "velvet rose fragrance" could have been more prominent however it did leave my skin feeling quite velvety once the whole process was completed.
I found that I had to apply the cream to my legs more than once for it to be completely smooth and hair free so I did not get much use out of the bottle (maybe I just have tough hair lol).
I find that wax strips work much better than this product and it also leaves your legs smoother for longer.
Tips: I now use the sponge to do my ombre nails. ;) it really works well
There really isn't much wrong with the product, I find it's the sponge that's the problem. You're meant to apply it with one side, which is softer, then remove it with the other side. The application side just sucks up the product and the remover side just doesn't help pull off any hair at all. I used a scraper-like tool that I got with a different product and it made a definite difference. The product is pretty thin compared to some others and I like to leave it on for longer than is recommended because my hairs are so stubborn. I don't find that it slows down the time it takes for my hair to grow back. I only use it when I've gotten lazy and my hair is super long on my legs. Also don't use it if you've got any open wounds. I thought it would help for removing hair under my arms where I have a skin condition but it really irritated it.
Tips: Don't use on any open wounds.
I got this as I get sick of shaving on such a regular basis and am always looking for something that will prolong the agony of having to deal with my legs so much. I out this on before my shower and waited the stated amount of time before getting in the shower. Then after a apfew more minutes I removed the cream with the sponge as directed. It did remove some of the hair but I had big patches where it didn't do much and I still had to shave anyway. For the amount of product I had to use to cover my legs I don't think this would be a very cost effective way to continue with anyway.
I brought this because as a busy Mum I often have no time to shave let alone have a shower alone. First impression the cream was so smelly and not at all pleasant. The cream applied pretty easy but I gave up on the sponge and just used my hand. After the waiting time I removed the cream with the sponge. I have to admit my legs did feel silky but I also was disappointed about the amount of hair left behind. I ended up shaving my legs anyway to remove all the hair. I have fine blond hairs on my legs so this may have been a factor in my dissatisfaction.
Tips: Might be better suited for darker hair and if you can leave it on a bit longer than suggested by the product
The sponge got clogged up straight away and couldn't really be anything other than one use, exfoliated side not rough enough either. Slightly nicer scent but come out patchy and slightly red
I was not really a fan as it did not really remove all the hair. Instead I was left with patches all over and my skin felt very itchy and irritated. It might work better should it be applied before shower and waiting a while before getting in but that it what the normal version is for.
Tips: Don't use the supplied spunge as it does not really work at removing the hair.
It's been a while since I used this product but I remember it very well. It came in a nice easy to use tube with a pop off lid (hate the screw on ones when you have product in your hands) One side of the sponge is great for applying the cream to the desired area. And then you leave it on for 3-5 minutes.
After you've waited you can then proceed to rub off the cream (and hair) with the scratchy side of the sponge in the shower and off it all comes and reveals nice silky smooth skin.
I found that there was decent amounts of product in the tube for the price so i got a few applications out of it. And the smell wasn't too overpowering but still smelled like 'hair removal cream' Which can't be helped really.
Overall I did really like this product and I would purchase again and reccommend.
Tips: Try scratching a bit of the cream off after you think it's been on long enough and if the hair doesn't come with leave it a little longer. Be sure not to leave it on too long as it can cause chemical burning.
