Smells divine! After a few times, it doesnt give off a very strong scent any more which is a bit disapointing. They fill up with wax very quickly and get very hot. Lovely smell though and not extremely pricey

Tips: dont leave lit for too long
I love how the scent of this candle can fill my whole house up without even being lit! only issue is that it can get a bit over powering if lit in a smaller room as the quality is so great that it becomes very strong
Tips: keep the lid off without lighting it, you can still smell it and you aren't wasting your candle
i had a voucher for peter alexander so this is one of the things i chose to buy with my voucher. i got a mini mind you, they're bloody expensive candles and i didn't know if i was going to like it.
i realize its a mini but my lord... so small. so expensive! small and expensive!! and the packaging was seriously lacking - the box it came in was gorgeous but the glass jar was just a bit pathetic and it reminded me of something i'd find in a dollar store with a cheap nasty candle in it.
the smell... wow. so nice. so that's what i paid for! it's a really gorgeous scent and when lit it carries through the room really nicely. the vanilla and caramel carry the most for me but apparently this also has pineapple and coconut in it, so that's blown my mind.
honestly for the price and what it is, i think there's better candles out there, but if you've got the money then splurge and treat yoself. i won't be doing it again anytime soon but i am gald i did it the once!
I found one of these in my sister's candle stash, and had to have it after smelling it. It smells so lovely, exactly like warm caramel. The candle doesn't need to be lit to widely disperse the scent, which is great :) Although it is a bit pricey, there is no doubt it is worth it!
The candles are honestly one of my favorites available. They lost one point as I always wish they could be stronger so I didn’t have to keep burning them as they’re not cheap! But what I love is they’re so available in NZ. So many great brands opt not to sell here which is annoying but this brand does and makes it affordable to buy here via lots of different sites and platforms.
Another thing I love is the recent concentration on the sweet baking smells and limited edition options. I love those rich vanilla and caramel scents, and there’s lots availability here. But if you prefer more subtle or fruity scents there’s also those options. Often it’s one or the other.
There’s also size and medium options: personal fragrance, candle, sticks.
So yes, I am a fan but I think for good reason!
Tips: Keep the wicks trimmed and reuse the jar for something special! And try a Taaha Affair… you’re welcome!
Love the smell of this candle. Have only tried a few of the glasshouse candles and unfortunately didn’t like the smells of them. This one on the other hand, BEAUTIFUL!!!
Love the smell of these candles! Makes a lovely gift for someone special. With a range of different scents, these can accommodate different tastes.
When we were walking through the mall an amazing scent wafted through one of the shops- it was from Peter Alexander. I had to know what the smell was and asked the lady at the counter. She said it was from this candle, so we immediately had to buy it! The smell is a beautiful caramelly smell which lasts for ages after you have it on for a little while. Anyone who comes to our house asks us what the smell is and wants this for themselves. Rather expensive but we LOVE this!
Went into Peter Alexander this week to buy some new jim jams and came out with 2 pair and one of these.
My night attire choice no doubt will not be interesting to the BR world but this! Talking about worlds..this transports you to another one.
I'm a fan of Vanilla candles and I don't mind shelling out top dollar for good ones. The Ecoya Vanilla one has been my fav up until now..but...this one leaves it in the shade.
It's actually Vanilla/Caramel and god it smells exactly like you've just pulled a Caramel slice out of the oven. I had to keep whipping back into the lounge and inhaling! It is absolutely gorgeous.
This is my product find for the year, price wise it's up there I guess but they claim it burns for 80 hours, and for a good quality candle that's about right I think. Sigghhh I will never be without one in my home from now on!
Tips: If you're in Auckland wip over to Peter Alexander in Newmarket in the holidays and buy one. If you're not they sell them online.
I love these so so much BUT the cost is absolutely ridiculous. They are the best scented in terms of strong scents you can buy but I have resorted in making my own soy candles as I cannot justify burning so much money away! Wish they were more reasonably priced.
