Glasshouse Triple Scented Candles

After experiencing this scent after a couple of visits to Peter Alexander in Wellington I was super excited to give this exciting trial opportunity a go to properly test out this divine product! I have to say that after giving this candle a proper go I have fallen completely in love with it, and have a feeling it will be a home decor staple for years to come!

Firsty, the packaging and presentation of this candle are beautiful. It comes in a gorgeous box, and the style of the candle is in a glass jar with ribboned lid. If you're wanting to get this as a gift for someone, the packaging alone is perfect.

The scent, one of the most important things in candles, is VERY strong, and I LOVE it. I suppose this is very much a personal thing; you would either adore this fragrance like I do, or it could prove much too strong and sweet for you. It is a delicious vanilla/caramel scent, and from the moment I opened the box it already started making my room smell amazing - before I'd even lit the candle! Once lighted, this scent permeates the whole room and lingers long after blowing the candle out.

There are two wicks, and they light very easily. The flame burns smoothly without any spluttering or flickering whatsoever. They are also very easy to blow out; the flame is extinguished immediately and there's barely any smoke, unlike other candles I've had where you spend ages trying to calm down the amount of smoke.

Completely in love, and totally recommend to anyone after a sweet, butterscotchy, homely scented candle!

I love the presentation of this candle. The candle comes in a cute box and the candle itself in in a glass jar with a lid. You can smell the scent coming from the box before it is even taken out of the box and lit.

The scent of this candle is so good, you just want to eat it. Even when it's not lit and you walk into the room you can smell it - it is sooo divine!

The scent is quite strong but not, in my opinion, overpowering. I burn my candle for an hour or two at a time and then blow it out and the scent lingers for ages.

I love this candle and will definitely be buying another to replace this one once it runs out.

When this candle arrived by courier, although it was packed in bubble wrap and brown paper, I could still smell the deliciousness through the packaging! It comes in a beautiful glass jar with a lid, the wax has a lovely caramel colouring and it has a double wick. I lit it straight away, and the smell is just divine. I just love this candle, its sweet and vanillary and caramel smell go throughout the whole room. It smells good enough to eat. I have lit it several times a week, over the last couple of weeks and it seems to be lasting well. Its such a luxurious treat to have such a yummy smelling candle, its like an every day , make you feel special treat! I'm definitely going to try the others in this range, I wouldn't normally spend this much on a candle, but I do think in this case that its worth the extra. Just yummy. You have to try it, put it on your Christmas list!

After i purchased this item i fell in love all over again. The price was out of my league knowing it was just a candle but its not just a candle it's a Vanilla Caramel scented candle that makes your house light up with the smell. Definately something to die for, for your home:), everytime someone comes over the first thing they ask is "what is that yummy smell".

Literally love this candle. Best candle I have in my entire house. The smell is noticible even when the candle isn't lit! Boyfriend loves it too so thats a bonus. They're a bit pricy that's the only thing I could really complain about but it is worth the price!

I was lucky enough to win one of these candles and it's become by far my favourite! Which really is saying something as I've never normally been a huge fan of 'sweet' scents. I no doubt will have to repurchase once I run out of this one.

It comes in an absolutely gorgeous glass jar which I will reuse once the candle is burnt down as its too cute to throw away!

It has the most delicious creamy vanilla caramel scent ever that has such a good throw - I only need this lit for 10 mins and already my room smells divine! I like how it has two wicks so it burns evenly and the lid is awesome as it means no horrible smokey smell from having to blow the candle out!

I have been using this heaps for about 3 weeks now and I've only made the smallest dent in it.

Overall even though its pricey I think its such a great quality candle. The smell is on point, it lasts for aaages and at the end of it you get a super cute little glass jar to keep.

This is my favourite candle IN THE WORLD. Its a scented candle where you can actually SMELL the scent. Burns for ages and when it's finished you can clean out the jar for pretty storage in the bathroom. LOVE.

I have to start this by saying I was completely ignorant to the fact that Peter Alexander even sold candles. Every time I walked in to the store I would literally die, haha no, but the smell was so overwhelmingly delicious, I dreamed that I could one day recreate the scent in my room.

Cue the lightbulb moment, when after my 10th odd visit I spotted the candles! I had a little giggle to myself for being so oblivious to them. Then I saw the price tag...the laughter subsided.

$55?! I found the most amazing candle of life and it's $55?! Long story short I walked out, heartbroken, without it. I subsequently came home and read ChristieMJ's review on it, which enabled me to be able to justify the purchase, yay!

It is now sitting pride of place on my dresser in my bedroom and every single person that has smelt it since I purchased it has fallen madly in love with it themselves.

I was lucky enough to win this baby in the BR Birthday giveaways. Boy was I happy! Anyway, the scent of Monte Carlo transports you to a warm, luxurious destination and the longevity of the scent means you can stay there for as long as you like. The fruitiness and woodiness balance each other to create the perfect fragrance. When lit, the scent permeates the room but doesn't overpower it meaning that anybody can enjoy the aroma. The scent says "welcome home" at the end of a busy day. My favourite thing about this product is: the scent because it transports me to a warm sunny climate where you're lying in the sun reading your favourite book while there is someone feeding you grapes hahah.

But really though, this candle is amazing, I could leave it on all day and still not get sick of it !

I love scented candles and I have tried a lot. This baby is by far my favourite so far. I love the Peter Alexander stores even more now. The presentation box is gorgeous enough to be a special gift. The candles is in a cute glass jar with a lid (which I have used for cotton balls) can be re-used. I have an apartment and the candle fills the whole place with the most amazing scent. I love coming home on a warm day and smell this beautiful fragrance. It is such a sweet and warming fragrance and with the gentle glow of the candle burning you can't help but feel amazing.
