I use bareMinerals Mineral Veil in 'Illuminating' and it gives me a lovely glow over top of my makeup. I tend to use it over my BB or CC creams if I'm having a great skin day and don't need a lot of coverage. I find it just sets the cream nicely and gives that glow that we all want. I wasn't sure how I felt about it to start with as I didn't notice a dramatic difference in my appearance but now I'm addicted and couldn't be without it. Such a great product (and the whole range in general) for sensitive skin.

I purchased my mineral veil when in America last year and I can't get enough of it. I find after I have applied my mineral foundation and warmth, the veil really completes my look and softens and blends all together. As I am quite a novice with make up I really appreciate how easy it is to get a lovely flawless look!
So fine and light but keeps your skin from oiling up. Definitely my favourite powder to go out my bb cream and liquid foundation. Also doesn't look chalky which is a bonus, especially for medium to tan skin.
Tips: Dust on a light layer with a mineral foundation brush for a natural but flawless finish.
I purchased this after buying the bare minerals foundation after reading reviews on here. I've never used another powder on top of my mineral foundation before, but now I am completely converted. It sets the foundation, and stops it going oily, it gives it a air brush kind of effect over top, as it smoothes out any lines and just smoothing out my skin tone in general. I've used it today a second time before going out for dinner, without reapplying my foundation, and it gave it an refreshed look, and took away any shine. Love this product!
When used in combination with Bareminerals foundations, this stuff is pure gold. It sets the powder beautifully. I do find it has a little bit too much shimmer for my tastes, so I don't use it every day, and it does not last whole day; it needs to be touched up after lunch, especially during summer when it melts off.
Tips: Make sure you get the right shade, some of them are very, very pale and shimmery, and can make you look washed out.
This powder is really light, it creates good finishing touch yet does not make you feel cakey at all. Only one downside, like other brands of mineral powder, it can not stay all day. But yeah, I love how it keeps my skin from turning oily most of the time
Tips: You need good foundation and a good brush (I use Sigma) to make full use of any mineral powder
I received this as part of my Bareminerals set and have fallen so much in love with it that it is a complete Must whenever I wear Bareminerals. The mineral veil is a lovely, soft powder that really does feel weightless when applied over your face. It sets the foundation and allows more wear from it as well as giving a nice 'airbrushed' effect that softens lines and in my case, makes my freckles and sun spots less noticeable. I like to reapply this throughout the day to stop shine from showing through and to keep a matte finish. Definitely repurchase worthy!
Tips: There are several varieties of this. I prefer the original as the illuminating ones have a bit of very fine shimmer that would be fine for someone who is a bit younger, but as I am approaching 30 I prefer not to look like a disco ball.
Also a little goes a long way, make sure you tap the excess off your brush or else it can look a bit cakey.
