e.l.f Mineral Infused Primer

I have the clear and the colour correcting green for when Im getting a bit of redness, I have quite dry skin and this helps give my skin the extra pep it needs.

For the price this is a good product The primer is a gel cosistency, but quite light in feeling, the texture is very smooth, but it sinks in quite quickly

My make up applies more evenly especially on my nose and forehead which are my driest areas, even my mineral make up goes on alot better too

I found that by the afternoon, my makeup looked as if it was sliding of my nose and was a little patchy and I needed to reapply my foundation, so will need a good setting powder over the top

So excited to be able to review this Primer. This is my Holy Grail product and one I can not live without. So lets start with the product itself. Its like a smooth gel consistency, it glides on so smoothly and feels soft as a babies bottom. You don't need much of it which is a bonus in my eyes because it then lasts longer. I can not use any foundation unless I've got this baby on and it goes on so well and really evens out my foundation whether it be powder or liquid. The packaging is just adorable, it has a pump on it which is great because all you need is one pump, its not huge so its pretty compact. The price is just amazing, at $6 you seriously can not go wrong. I have this in both the Clear and Tone Adjusting Green. Amazing product. One thing I will say though is that I have tried the Smashbox primer and this E.L.F one is a total dupe for it, however I definitely prefer the E.L.F one.

This was the first primer I have ever used and I am in love,I have only tried to clear version as of yet I find that one pump does all over my forehead,nose,under eyes & around my mouth but I find applying it to my whole face works so much better for my makeup so about 1 and a half 2 pumps, I love the feeling of this primer it goes on so smooth and feels like I am wearing nothing, Once dried I apply my foundation etc, When it is hot and my face gets a little sweaty I go to look in a mirror and imagine the horror I will find but when I wear this primer with the e.l.f setting mist my makeup does not move at all even on the hottest days. Only negative is that the bottle doesn't last long at all but for $6 I guess that is ok, I am excited to try the other primers e.l.f has in the future.Has a light pleasant scent & Cute packaging.

The first thing I noticed about this was how soft it made my skin immediately after application. It helped make my skin smoother (I have dry skin so this is a must), and I definitely felt like it helped prime and moisturise my skin.

It also helps my redness and it allows my foundation to stay on longer. My skin looks and feels better after using this and I use this in lieu of moisturiser before putting foundation on. I'll definitely purchase this again.

This is not my favourite primer (as I own a few) but it is definitely good. It is so inexpensive so it is great for those on a budget. It makes my skin sooo smooth and makes a great base for my foundation, which glides over the top of it. I don't find that this breaks me out at all either, which I have had happen with some other primers. It definitely did help my foundation last longer as well!

e.l.f products are always a bit hit and miss with me. Their product packaging is generally quite cheap and nasty, and the products themselves are often pretty low quality. However I can't say the above about this primer because it actually does quite a good job. I have found it minimizes pores and when paired with the rest of my makeup routine, my makeup is actually lasting all day right now and that makes me excited.

I am not much an ELF fan as their products always makes me break out; but when I tried the ELF Mineral Infused Face Primer, it instantly made me fall in love with this product. I have the green one "Tone Adjusting Green", it evens out my skin tone and covers up most of my redness which I usually have around my nose. When I apply foundation or BB cream, it always goes on smoothly. I have oily skin and this primer doesn't make my face oily, it can last up to 8 hours and I am very impressed! One downside is, this primer smells like petrol.

Love this primer it is so light weight and feels really soft on. Makes it easier to apply foundation on top off. Isnt sticky or clumpy. Best drug store cheap primer ive tried.

In the interest of full disclosure I should probably admit that before this I was a primer virgin! But I really love this product! I just use a tiny amount and my skin feels so silky and smooth. Foundation goes on perfectly over the primer with no wait time and my make up looks so much better for so much longer! The price is good, it is easy to dispense, you don't need much and damn does it work well. Love, love, love.

This primer for me is perfect everyday primer, when all you are asking of your make up is to make it through the work day and nothing more. Its not the best primer I have used but it definitely shines for the price you pay for it.

It does what you want a primer to do, it smooths your face in prep for foundation or BB cream and evens out the skin, it also has helped with the mega shine issue that seems to plague my forehead no matter what I use, but the primer has reduced its effects wonderfully.

Neat little bottle that is clear so you can see when you are nearly at the bottom. Only downfall was the lid, after the initial opening it never stayed on again!! but being a pump action bottle doesn't cause too many issues as it doesn't leak all over the place.
