This review is for the green primer, but might as well be for the clear primer as the green tint did nothing at all to help control the redness. To me, it's mostly gimmicky. With that said, I loved the primer at first, but you have to shake really well as it have a great tendency to separate. The smell is ok and the texture is fine, although a bit on the thick side after a while, when the ''watery part'' is gone first.
I would purchase this product if you were looking to test a silicone primer for the first time. It's inexpensive and it does the job. By using this as your first time silicone primer, you'll see if you like it without paying too much money, and then you'll be able to move to a more expensive one if you like this kind of primer.
I will not repurchase as I think there's better primer out there, but it was not a bad product.
I bought this product after being dissatisfied with the effects of other water-based primers I'd previously used. I chose the redness reducing primer as I have some post-acne redness in my cheeks. I found that this primer had minimal colour correcting effects, but it did work wonderfully at keeping my foundation looking perfect all day. I have dry skin, and find my foundation can sometimes look patchy, but with the help of this product it didn't. I put it on at 7:30am and it still looked good at 9pm, after a day of work and a fast paced jazz dance class. I'd recommend this to a friend, it works well and is so affordable. Only downfall is not being available in NZ stores but according to their Facebook page that might be changing this year!
Tips: A little goes a long way, too much will cause the foundation to slip. Wait a few minutes for it to settle on the face before putting foundation on.
