When I first brought this i was a little bit skeptical due to the price. I found it made my skin feel instantly smooth when appplied. Helped my makeup glide on smoother. I felt it helped me by providing a smooth base for my foundation.

I really like this primer considering the price I paid for it (about $5 off iHerb). I love the silicone/gel feeling and it went on my skin really smoothly. Make sure you don't use too much though as it can leave you a bit oily.
I found it left a good base for my foundation and lasted all day.
I can't really comment in comparison to high-end primers as I haven't used many, but this is a great cheap primer.
Tips: Don't use too much
This is the first primer I ever bought and I liked the silicone feel of this product. It made my foundation go on super smoothly. The only downside to this product is there is not much primer in the bottle
Surprisingly a very high quality primer for the low cost. It has a nice velvet feel and goes on so smoothly under foundation!!
This primer was one of my first primers when I had no idea how primers worked. It was cheap and came in a huge bottle which even now has about 1/3 left. The pump dispenser is easy to use and hygienic.
This has a very thick, gel like consistency (which I now know is due to the silicone). It mostly spreads smoothly but sometimes if you put too much on it rubs to form kind of gritty 'clumps'. It makes my face feel smoother when I'm wearing it but it also feels almost as if my skin can't 'breathe'. I'm an avid believer in natural, 'no makeup' makeup so the weight of this on my face is quite off putting.
Since this one I've also tried benefit's porefessional and some korean branded whitening primer. Both feel lighter and fill my pores more smoothly than this elf one. So this bottle has slowly migrated to the back of my makeup drawer.
I would recommend this to those starting out with makeup, looking for a cheap primer.
This is a really good basic primer. Has a silicone feel. Smooths the skin, fills in pores (to an extent), prolongs the wear of makeup applied on top and controls oils. I love this primer and will repurchase again and again.
Tips: Press into problem pore areas and smooth over other parts of the face, particularly areas of uneven texture.
This primer is perf on my skin. my foundation goes on smoothly and looks really natural, and i noticed that my redness had minimised, and the finish it gave after a few hours of wear was amazing. I would defs buy this again
This product comes in a simple, yet classy looking casing. However it is very deceiving with how much you actually get, because it looks like you are getting the whole bottle but really you only get a little bit in it because it's double cased. It applies really smoothly it does feel thick but I actually don't mind how it feels on my face. It also makes my makeup apply a lot smoother and just nicer in general. It is very affordable as well!
Tips: Let dry a little bit before applying makeup.
I was given this as a gift. I had heard of how this was a good cheap primer so was eager to try it. Looks wise the packaging is simple but nice. The cap kept falling off in my bag so not ideal as I would end up with a mess in my makeup bag if I took this on trip. The primer spreads smoothly but it feels a bit heavy probably due to all the silicone. I found my makeup stayed on better and applied smoother than if I hadn't used a primer but I wasn't impressed by it. That being said it's one of the cheapest primers on the market so I didn't really have high hopes for it. I guess for the price it did a good job. I don't think I will repurchase this but I guess if you're on a really tight budget and just need a really primer this is worth a go. I didn't break out using this but it didn't feel really good on my skin either.
Tips: Not the best primer but a good start for those on budget. I would recommend you wait after applying to let this set before applying the rest of your makeup.
I had been wanting to try this primer for years, I finally got around to ordering one from Iherb.com for $8.24 New Zealand dollars and was very impressed with the results.
It comes in a plastic bottle with an air pump dispenser. At first glance I mistook the plastic bottle for a glass one, very chic and sleek packaging. There is 14 grams which is approximately half the amount of an average primer, but for the price it is still a great find.
After moisturizing my face, I like to use 2 pumps of primer to cover my face and neck. The formula is a clear thick gel form, it has a slight silicone scent, and glides on to the skin in a matter of seconds. It leaves a velvet smooth finish, settles into my fine lines and acts like a filler, the small pores are unnoticeable, which is fantastic for the next step which is applying my foundation. This primer works well with liquid and powder foundation, it makes a great base that lasts 8-10 hours depending on the weather and what I am doing.
I am shocked with the results, for the cheap price and how well it performs, I will be repurchasing this when I do my next Iherb order.
