I bought this to use on my toddler, who has fine hair but a lot of it and waist length. Detangles well, also helps to brush the hair smooth when tying it up. The bristles feel fairly sharp to the palm of hand but actually feels soft on the scalp. No complaints from my daughter, and we have tried other popular detangler brush brands that have not stood up to this one. I bought a smaller size one to keep at the grandparents house to. Have recommended to several friends who have daughters with long hair.
Tips: The brush is easy to clean as it has no cushion backing for water to fester in.
