This hand sanitiser is what we use at work (I am an early childhood teacher). It is quite harsh and smells very strongly of alcohol, which does make you feel as though the germs are being killed, but makes your skin feel dry. I already suffer from dry skin and when I sanitise on a raw dry bit of skin it stings a lot. I would prefer a less harsh sanitiser, but as it is what our workplace provides, I will continue to use it.

Purell Hand Sanitiser
Formulation matters. PURELL Hand Sanitizer is so hard on germs, but gentle on hands that it makes other hand sanitizers obsolete. It’s scientifically formulated to kill the most germs. Just 1 squirt of PURELL Advanced Hand Sanitizer kills as many germs as two squirts of any other national brand.
This breakthrough formulation also includes four different skin conditioners. It will help soothe your skin and maintain moisture – no matter how often you use it.

Tips: Definitely moisturise in conjunction with this sanitiser
I used the 240 ml for a while and got sick of the smell. It reminds me of hospitals now, the sanitizer is very good and a small amount is all you need for your hands. It also made the palms of my hands quite dry which was quite strange. This used to be my favourite hand sanitizer but have now switched to Dettol. This is still a great product and good value for money.
I'm such a little handsanitiser geek that I always have some at my desk and some at home - I always like to have clean hands. I liked that this came in some really small handbag sized pottles so I can keep one in the car or handbag. Smell wasnt too strong or offensive was quite pleasant, it absorbed quickly and it did make my hands feel clean and dry. Unfortunately for me it was a bit drying for my skin and left my skin feeling a little bit dryer than I started. If I didnt have dry/sensitive skin I would use it.
Hand sanitisers have to be one of the best things to have been released. They can be picked up anywhere.
Comes in this gel form. It's in a this clear bottle which is good because you can see how much your using. Some of these hand sanitisers are known for having a strong smell of alcohol like scent. I personally like specific scent type hand sanitisers.
I'm out and I need a quick hand wash , this always saves the day. Ive used this so many times. Especially if you've got a baby. Quick to clean up after spills and nappy changes. Really good if your far away from any toilets. Is a must have to have in your handbag. Love hand sanitisers. I don't think it smells as strong as Dettol. Definately a goody to have in your bag or car.
This hand sanitiser is okay in a pinch, but it's not my preferred. It's a bit too drying for my hands, so I prefer the Dettol brand sanitiser. This is better than nothing, so I used it up but won't repurchase.
This instantly refreshes hands on use & has a pleasant smell but it claims to "maintain moisture no matter how often you use it" - I found that to be false as my hands feel dry and dehydrated after repeated use of this.
Tips: I think it's fine to use less frequently
I used to use this religiously when my kids were small. I still have a couple of mini size bottles floating around my bag and car. I find the scent quite mild and formulation good as it dries/absorbs fast. I won't repurchase however as a teacher friend did a science experiment to see how much bacteria was on hands after using this and there was little difference.
Stings to high heaven when rubbed in then my skin will peel and burn all day afterwards. Maybe too effective!
I prefer the Dettol over Purell but it does the job and comes in handy sizes for handbag to at home. Its quick drying and I found that my hands dry out very easily using this
