Tips: Use only a small 20c piece of Shampoo and a 50c piece for Conditioner as this lathers and covers really well, plus was a tip from my hairdresser when I bought this brand of shampoo and conditioner.
This is my current go to shampoo and conditioner. I love the peppermint in the conditioner and the cooling sensation you get. It's perfect for the summer weather and for waking you up in the morning. I find this shampoo and conditioner are doing wonders for my hair. My hair drys smoother and nicer because it's hydrated and isn't being weighed down. It also doesn't fade my colour which is a problem I was previously having
Tips: Use a very small amount of each as they are super concentrated.
First of all the smell of the peppermint conditioner in the morning is amazing and also gives your head a wee bit of a wake up tingle. This fantastic products have helped my red in my hair stay vibrant as if it was done yesterday. I love the way it helps hold the colour in. This set really puts back the moisture in your hair if you regulary dye your hair. The shampoo doesn't strip your hair making it feel like straw.
Tips: Don't get the conditioner in your eyes, it really hurts as it is peppermint.
This shampoo and conditioner is amazing! I have highlighted blonde hair and it is perfect for my hair, keeps it so hydrated and keeps the colour so bright and keeps it from going yellow. While it is on the expensive side for a shampoo and condition it is totally worth it as they last a long time. It leaves my hair feeling silky and smooth as well as nice and light, and definitely less frizzy which is always a bonus!
Tips: you really don't need to use that much, the shampoo lathers up a lot and the condition is very dense so keep away from using too much as it will leave your hair looking greasy once dry.
Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner was recommended to me by a friend five years ago, and honestly I have never looked back.
I have long, fine hair that breaks easily. I find that by using this shampoo and conditioner regularly I can go much longer between haircuts as I'm not getting those fuzzy dry split ends. So even though the product is $35 a bottle, it is saving me money on haircuts.
As noted in other reviews the shampoo smells of liquorice and the conditioner of peppermint. I don't mind either and do particularly love the fresh peppermint smell - but even if you weren't a fan don't worry, your hair doesn't keep those smells! It just smells nice and fresh.
The shampoo has a great lather and the conditioner is thick and luxurious - you only need a small amount (20 cent piece size for my hair).
I do use semi-permanent hair colour upon occasion and it definitely makes the colour last longer.
100% vegan ingredients, and the bottle is made with 50% recycled materials. Vegan means no testing on animals either.
I cannot recommend this product enough! I love it so much that it was my one treat to myself when I had my baby and finances were tight. I love it enough that my husband is forbidden from using it because it is mine mine mine!
Tips: If you have fine hair like mine, stick to the purple Hydrate shampoo / conditioner - I found the other coloured bottles just weren't as magical for my hair!
After finishing my bottles of Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo and Conditioner and finding my previously straw like damaged strands nearly completely repaired, I was recommended this product by my hairdresser to help with the my hair's lingering dry curse.
All I can say is wow! After using this shampoo and conditioner once a week for the entirety of winter, my hair is now in the best condition it has ever been. It is actually soft and manageable! The shampoo and conditioner whilst very concentrated, when used sparingly, keeps my otherwise thick hair feeling light!
The only downfall I have found with this product is that my hair did result in a lot of build up when used for longer than 3 months at a time. I have found however that alternating between this product and the Smooth Perfection range to minimise the build up and leave my hair both incredibly smooth and nourished.
This shampoo and conditioner is now my number one holy grail hair item.
Tips: *Only use a tiny amount in your hair at a time- think 10 cent coin size. *I don't recommend using this product for longer than 3 months at a time sequentially, to avoid build up, try alternating with Pureology Smooth Perfection.
My hair has never felt nicer, healthier, softer and shinier than when using pureology. The first time I used it I noticed an immediate difference! Absolutely love this hydrate for that hydrating boost you need! Not suitable for my hair every time I wash because it will be too oily but amazing for a sometimes wash when I want a boost!
I was recommended the Pureology Hydrate range by a hairdresser years ago who used it on my thick, dry hair during an appointment. It was the beautiful smell which led me to ask about it but I loved the fact it contains no sulfates and my hair just got softer and seemed healthier with continued usage. It's not something I can afford to buy all the time - salon products are the first to go for me when I have less disposable income, but it's a range I come back to again and again when I can afford it. I also appreciate that the bottles are also 50% made out of recycled plastic and the cap stays on tight in my gym bag.
Tips: You don't need to use very much, it lathers and smoothes on really nicely.
I typically have issues with an itchy scalp so I have to be careful what products to use. Someone I was speaking with insisted I try Pureology products and at this stage I was willing to try anything so I gave it a go.
I will not look back. Not only does it not give me an itchy scalp, my salon-dyed copper hair looks super vibrant and my hair is just so smooth. The light eucalyptus smell is really nice as well.
I have the giant bottle which has a flip cap but I would really rather a pump because so much product comes out. You really do not need much at all. The strong lather helps it spread super far so a little goes a long way. I let the shampoo sit in my hair for a minute before rinsing out. I used to shampoo my hair twice but with this product I find it is not necessary. I use the conditioner just on the ends and let it sit for a minute before rinsing. I also follow up with the mask in the range and then a heat protecting spray, also a Pureology product, before I blow dry my hair. The overall results are fantastic.
Just as these products were recommended to me, I will recommend them to other people.
Tips: A little goes a long way!! You only need a coin-size amount.
this is a great product for hydration has amazing smells and I love how the conditioner comes in light as well as I have fine hair and doesn't weigh it down
