Have never used this until I changed hair stylist. A little goes a long way. While the bottles look the same between shampoo and conditioner. The way you can tell which is which is how the bottle sits. I use this in combination with a silver conditioner to help hydrate and keep the colour of my silver hair. This has kept my hair dehydrated and smooth. Being that I've had my hair coloured alot this definitely helps maintain a healthy lustre in my hair. It doesn't keep my hair from going brassy but I also don't believe that's the shampoos fault. It's more that I have very dark and strong hair.

Pureology is an amazing product! I worked with this product for 4yrs in a salon and I loved it! It was a product that did it’s job, it sold itself, come with a huge range, is a great product.
I didn't like the smell. It was a nice result but the the smell was too much. I don't think I'd buy a full bottle. It's a no from me.
I am so disappointed with the Pureology range. I am typically a Sunsilk or Dove kind of girl but read Pureology is good for your hair (and the environment) so I decided to invest! I've spent a lot of money buying their shampoo and conditioners trying to find one suitable. I specifically have the 'Sheer' version of this which is meant to be a lightweight version of Hydrate (for finer hair). Oh my gosh, I cannot stress enough how disgusting I find the smells. The shampoo and conditioner have different scents but still very similar to each other in my opinion and all I could think while washing my hair was "it smells like lice killer shampoo and menthol". I have read so many comments on how many people love the scent, I am not one of these people! My hair also felt very dry while using it in the shower which is quite strange since it is meant to do the opposite.. While my hair was drying I can still see my frizz so I spray the Colour Fanatic mist which smells nice and drowns out this smell and also helps my hair to actually look hydrated.
Since there's no review option for these ones I wanted to add here that I love the smell of their Strength Cure range! (Quite floral which is my go-to scent usually). It does an alright job but not fabulous and I still get quite a bit of hair loss when washing or brushing so I'm don't think it's really strengthening?? Have also tried the Smooth Perfection (smells like shea butter or something along those lines) which did absolutely nothing for my frizz except for on the top of my scalp but the middle and ends of my hair were no better off when using the shampoo and conditioner.
I will use up my bottles but honestly I think I'll be going back to Sunsilk. Do not believe the hype. Just because it costs more doesn't mean it's better..
Tips: Do not waste your money on large sizes if you haven't tried them before, try the mini travel sizes if you can before you commit because it is so expensive!
I was really excited to try this product as everyone and their mum seems to really like it. First off the smell.. Yuk! I couldn't stand it it's a familiar smell that I couldn't put my finger on. The packaging is probably the best thing about this product because the top is flat I can stand it upside down to get all the product in saying that I gave it to my mum when I was about halfway through. I don't have super damaged hair but I do heat style and dye it every 6-8 weeks and I'm terrible at getting hair cuts. From what it says on the bottle you only need a small amount but I had to put one wash through which didn't lather then go in again with the same amount (2 50cent pieces) to get a lather that is enough to clean my whole head of hair. It leaves my hair feeling stripped and the conditioner isn't hydrating at all. After washing my hair was shiny but quite dry and I had to wash every second day where as I normally would wash every 4 days.
I was recommended this Shampoo and Conditioner a few years ago by a hairdresser. I was initially reluctant to try it due to its high price. These products are 100 % vegan.
Both the shampoo and conditioner come in a purple bottle with a dark purple flip lid. The design is such that it allows you to stand the bottles on their lids, prefect when running low.
The shampoo I would describe as a rich texture. It gives a good lather which surprised me initially because it doesn’t have any Sodium lauryl sulfate in it. (sudsing agent). It smells a bit usual for a shampoo I guess, a bit like licorice. I personally didn’t mind it but I can see it would not be for everyone. The formula is highly concentrated and a little goes a long way for both the shampoo and the conditioner. I applied this to my roots and to the top of my crown.
The results from the shampoo. I found this very moisturising on my hair, my hair felt soft, shiny and smooth with no fizz. I also found it left behind no residue. In terms of colour vibrancy it did an average job similar to other products I have used before.
The conditioner also has a rich texture similar I guess to a hair mask. It smells like peppermint. I used the conditioner from mid length- to the ends of my hair and left it on a few minutes before rinsing out.
The results from the condition. I found my hair very soft and relatively knot free. It works well in combination with the shampoo.
Overall a lovely set but pricey.
