Remington PROluxe Digital Salon Hair Dryer Review

I didn't know a hairdryer could make such a difference! I thought they just dried your hair. I couldn't believe how smooth and shiny my hair was after I finished. Usually it is all fluffy and a bit out of control but it looked as though I had straightened it. The diffuser was a bit tricky to attach but got there in the end. Good idea to have a removable filter.

I've never used a 'digital' dryer before. I had in my head before I got it that it would have a fancy pants panel of flashing lights on it that would possibly flash on and off when you're using it.

It doesn't have any of that, instead it has two easy to use buttons, one for speed and one for heat that allows you to easily adjust the settings. It's super light and comes with a diffuser and also a directional head.

This dryer probably shaved 8-10 minutes off my drying time, my hair is medium length but I have a lot of it and hair drying is my most hated task so this is a massive plus for me. It also left me with a sleek style and bonus I didn't need to use my straighteners.

At over $200 it's an investment but then how often do you buy a new hairdryer vs how often do you use it? So well worth it!

Sparkly black in colour with rose gold trim makes for a sleek and pretty looking hair dryer. Aside from aesthetics, there are three main features that I love about this hair dryer that set it apart from any other hair dryer I have used.

They are; its' size and weight (it’s a medium-sized hair dryer that is the perfect size and importantly, not too heavy to hold when you’re drying longer hair - despite its powerful 2300 watt motor). Secondly, with its mixture of two speed/three heat controls (and even a cold blast button for a burst of cold air), you can set it to suit your type of hair and how hot you prefer it. I have straight (ish) shoulder length hair which I dried with this hair dryer in under 5 minutes. Thirdly, and most importantly for me, my hair did not frizz. This is something I have never experienced with a hair dryer before. Usually I have to use a smoothing product once I have dried my hair, and then the frizz calms down by the next day. This hair dryer dried my hair in record time, with little effort using the ‘concentrator’ attachment and a brush, with absolutely no frizz. No. Frizz. My hair felt like I had used an anti-frizz shampoo/conditioner or serum, and showed no sign of fly away hairs. It was silky smooth and there was a visible difference in the finish. This means that I can now wash my hair prior to going out or to an event if I want a silky smooth look, because of the finish I can achieve with this hair dryer. In the past, I would not have done this, I would have washed and dried it the day before to achieve the smooth, relaxed look the next day.

I am super excited to keep using this hairdryer and would absolutely recommend it!

This is an amazing Hairdryer & I know my daughter is going to want to wash her hair 10x more often just to use it! It is lightweight & easy to hold onto so my wrist doesn't hurt using it like it did with my old one. The plastic is cool touch so it doesn't get hot, which means I can trust my 7yr old not to burn herself. And there's none of that soft rubbery-plastic that goes tacky with age & heat exposure, so it will be easy to wipe clean if I get product on it. The fan force is epic, the nozzle is reasonably small so it packs a punch & the temp settings are great too. The "cool shot" button wowed me, it didn't just kill the heat & leave you with the residual warmth, it turbo boosted the fan to get it cooler faster, again great for using on young ones!

It comes with 3 heat settings + the cool shoot function, Diffuser bulb & Concentrator nozzle & has 2 fan speeds. The filter is easy enough to remove for cleaning & in 1 piece so not complicated to put back together.

The only thing I can find that isn't 100% amazing is, I wish the cord was a little longer, but that's because my power point is at the skirting boards.
