This liquid liner lasts fairly well and isnt all smudgey the tip of the brush is nice and fine yet solid great to make line drawing simple. You can draw a little flick or wing if you like and it is not too wet and didnt take ages to dry it is not all shiny or wet looking on the lid too. The price is okay not fantastic but it is a good product. Would re buy on special.

This little bottle of jet black potion really does last all day. It takes only a few seconds to dry, and then you have a matte liner for easily 12+ hours.
Most liquid liners produce a similar looking formula, so it really is down to the applicator. I am always super nervous when applying eye liner, so my hands will shake as I pretty much press my face up against the mirror to see precisely what I am doing.
The first time I used this liner I failed horribly. I kept making tiny mistakes which meant I kept adding and adding to the line on my upper lid, leaving a thick black almost goth-looking eye look. AND I was running late for work so didn't have time to fix it!
But now that I have been using it for a couple of weeks I am getting better at applying a dainty upper lash line, and have even been brave enough to do a bold winged eye liner look. The brush applicator really is very thin and has just enough flexibility to be pushed down into your lash line.
In the past I have preferred felt tip pen eye liners, but this was a really good starting point for getting better at using brush applicators.
Tips: Practice practice practice!
I brought this and was excited to get home and use this as I have loved other revlon products and I am a big fan of their colourstay foundation. I felt meh, I wasn’t wowed or neither highly disappointed. It’s a nice dark black colour which I prefer. It is easy to apply. However I found the line isn’t defined after applying the eyeliner. I also found that the product dried out very quickly, meaning that after having first opened, the whole product dried out within 2 months. For the price, I believe there are better products.
I love the way the eyeliner emphasis your eyes, the shape of the brush creates a perfect contour, making it easily applicable. I also love how the product lasts all day, without smudging. I will definitely be using this product again!
I have this in the Brown Shade. Good, easy to apply but takes a little while to dry. The brush applies in a thin line but I think the newer Revlon eyeliners have a thick line option which I much prefer.
I have ALWAYS struggled with finding liquid liners that don't budge as soon as they've been applied! I have hooded eyes that are also a little squinty so a lot of eye makeup up (liners, mascaras, eyeshadow etc..) doesn't work for my lids. The revlon colorstay liner is one of 2 liquid liners I have tried that lasts more than a couple of hours on my eyes! It's so nice to be able to rock a winged liner and not worry about it smudging or transferring due to my eye shape etc.. Definitely recommend it to anyone with squinty or hooded eyes!
Tips: Let it dry! Let it dry! Let it dry! Otherwise like any liquid liner it will transfer if you haven't let it dry first.
Incredibly - and rather unusually in the cosmetics world - Revlon's ColorStay does everything it claims. And I'm a really fussy, perfectionist customer when it comes to eyeliner. I have highly sensitive eyes and seem to react to everything, from liners to makeup removers. I'm always impatient to get my liner on in the morning and get going (ok, I'm lazy and always running late :) ). I hate shimmer on eyeliner. I hate smudging. I like precision application for a clean, streamline look, but also want to be able to build on that if I want a bolder effect. And I want to be able to get it off easily without having to rub and scrub (again, lazy, and with sensitive eyes I can't use a lot of strong makeup removers). Well... Revlon's Liquid Liner ticks ALL my boxes. I love this product. I use the dark brown, which is deeply pigmented (I do have very pale skin though), a bottle lasts me for ages (and I use it daily), and the applicator is great, with a tapered firm but flexible sponge tip which makes fine lines or bold cat's eyes really easy to create. And this stuff DOES NOT BUDGE - even when I can't be bothered removing it at night (I know, lazy). Next morning, it still looks perfect (unless I've slept on my face overly much.) My skin's on the dry side, so I don't know how it would last on oily lids, but for me it's great. I just hope against hope that they never stop producing this eyeliner.
Tips: In my experience, if you make a mistake as you're applying it, just moisten a cotton bud with water and gently wipe or roll away the problem. No need for makeup remover. Once it's dry, a little bit of micellar water on a cotton bud will remove it easily.
I really like the intensity of this liner. I got a black one which really stood out. The only issue I had was that it was quite tricky to put on finely. Maybe less of a problem if you are using it for more dramatic eyeliner. I generally have to wipe a little off with a cloth so that it isn't all smeary! It lasts really well though and once it's on it stays really well which I seem to struggle with when using the pencils.
Does what you want it to, I think if I was going to be picky about it- the only thing I really dislike would be that it is 2.5ml.... come on...give us 3! This eyeliner has never let me down- buy with confidence
Tips: Setting spray will really make this travel the distance, but honestly, it doesn't need the help.
This was my first liquid eyeliner after using pencils. I love this, I have Mahogany Flame, a lovely warm slightly sparkly brown. I like that you can identify the colour by the brush handle. The brush on the end is like a thin paintbrush, not a felt tipped pen. The lines that can be drawn can be really thin, and if any mistakes are made, a cotton bud will remove them. I cannot wait to try the green one. I really do recommend this, as the ease of use is fab, and colour pigmentation is good too. Can be rinsed off with micellar water, no need for a harsh makeup remover.
